Buy it now, you won’t be disappointed!!
Do not hesitate, buy it!!I can’t believe how easy it was to install and how quick and hassle free it was to connect to my wife’s phone. This is packed with so many features, originally purchased the one without the camera and the realise for a few £ more it came with 2 cameras and I’m glad I did.I have recommend this to family and friends, it transforms an old car stereo into a up to date infotainment system. This is even better than some modern cars today.Hopefully the unit will last, time will tell.Very happy!!

Great screen to use Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on an older car
I have an older Mazda MX5 (which only gets used during nice weather). It’s got the original stereo, a couple of years ago I fitted an aux in cable and a DAB radio accessory to listen to more radio stations and connect my phone via bluetooth to use Spotify. But its’ not the easiest thing to use.I have often thought about changing the stereo for an updated stereo with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but for the amount of miles I do, I could never justify the cost. I have been looking for a plug in Apple CarPlay/Android Auto device for a while but again the cost always seemed quite high. I noticed this device while browsing through Amazon, looked at the reviews and decided I would give it a try.Fitting was easy, clamp fitted to front window, power through cigarette lighter and aux cable plugged in to connect to original stereo. Attach unit to the clamp and then simply connect iPhone via bluetooth and Apple CarPlay is up and running. It is a knack to slide the unit into the clamp, but nothing too complicated. Once in place, I have had no issues with it coming out of the clamp.Nice big screen for navigation instructions, easy to use Spotify to listen to music, notifications pop-up when messages come in. You can use the usual Apple CarPlay apps and have the app as a full screen display, or go to a home setting which splits the screen into 2, with navigation instructions, music etc in each half.My eyesight is at a point where I wear glasses for distance and as I’ve got older I take my glasses off to see closer things. This was an issue sometimes when trying to read complicated Google Maps navigation instructions on my iPhone (iPhone 16 pro). With the new screen everything is nice and clear.I did think the sound when playing music through Spotify was slightly too quiet. But in the settings section of the unit there is a volume control, turned it up and sound is now fine.So far I have no complaints, the screen is reasonably responsive and easy to use. For the money I paid, it’s an absolute bargain to be able to have a bigger screen for navigation and easily play and change music.

If you’re thinking about buying one. Do it
Brilliant buy… I recently purchased this screen as we were making a 2000 mile+ trip across france and I wanted to retrofit Apple car play to the Ford I was driving. I ordered two units as the first had a fault, but the second unit was faultless and fantastic. Having used it for 48h+ of driving time it really helped with the journey. It’s easy to use, and pair with my iPhone. I used the Bluetooth wireless CarPlay and although I needed to repair maybe 3 times in total, most times it was absolutely faultless and from one use to the next I didn’t need to re-pair. The touchscreen is responsive enough but does need a proper TOUCH as it’s resistive. Colours and brightness are good and it has a night mode as well as the ability to dip the brightness which is definitely needed at night.I used the built in audio for the occasional instruction and then used my ear buds for my podcasts.I didn’t try the mirror function or android auto but may do in due course. The only fownaide was occasionally the screen had “fantom touches” where it kept behaving as if I had touched the screen causing the satnav to not follow the journey until re-centred. This could be fixed by a quick unplug and replug, probably happened 3x in total.Otherwise it was great, just had to remember to unplug it when I parked up as my cig socket stays live and the screen would stay powered otherwise.A great purchase for circa £50 and would have been a much harder journey without
