With the weather turning its been hard to kerp the geckos at the correct temperature.I turns to a 200w bulb and this has brought the temperature right up.It did as smell slightly when turned on but that was gone after a couple of minutes.

Will not be purchasing one of these again as mine only lasted a month. We couldn’t figure out why our tortoise Delilah’s heating wasn’t working as the bulb and thermostat are only a month old so we borrowed money off friends to get a new ceramic holder as that was the only part we hadn’t replaced yet but once installed there was still no change in temp so we changed her CHE to the old one from this bulb and the temp started climbing. So yeah I wouldn’t recommend this brand of CHE.

Got 2 of these lamps plugged in and have been running for 2 years now heating my frogs terrarium very nicely. Never had an issue with them. They’re on a temperature controller so often switch on and off to keep control of the temperature. They get piping hot, so place them with a mesh cage and also use a ceramic base to screw them into. That said, they can really raise the temperature on a small spot depending on the size of the lamp. Only downfall about this purchase was that it took a couple of weeks to arrive. If you want to save a few quid and willing to wait, order these, if not just get them for the double the price at Pets at Home

Works as it should, 100 watt isn’t powerful enough for a large Vivarium
Good value for money bulbs, delivered safely and works as it should. I thought a 100watt bulb would provide enough heat for my pythons in a 6ft long Viv but the temp was way too low (struggles to get above 29C) so I’ve ordered a higher rated one for that viv, 100watt works perfect in my 3ft Viv for the corn snake.

Lampada da rettilario da 25 W. Una 25W che già scalda parecchio. Attacco E27 come le lampadine standard. Calda in pochi secondi fa salire la temperatura di terrari e rettilari in un attimo. Isolamento in ceramica.

Utilisée depuis 3 mois pour chauffer un terrarium pour Pogona.Elle est montée sur une douille céramique pour lampe de 100W afin d’augmenter sa durée de vie.Le Pogona est visiblement satisfait de sa lampe 🙂
