I believe Hyundai are actually far superior in quality and price!👍
This machine is a little bit heavy, and constant use can tire you out, however, what an amazing piece of equipment!! Especially with the price!! This engine is more powerful than most, and can cope with anything!🙏🏻 I always recommend using aspen fuel in all my machines, it may cost more but is really worth it! Just one of the jobs it can do would cost the same, but you have four attachments that cover most jobs, and the fifth being the extension, which is more than sufficient 👍 this makes transporting all my equipment so much more easier! One tool to do everything you need! I also bought a 20 inch Hyundai chainsaw, and I am so impressed with everything that I have bought!! Highly recommend using Hyundai equipment in the future!!👍 good quality at an amazing price! Starts easily! No fuss no problems! Look after your kit, keep good maintenance, and you will never be let down!! Can’t praise Hyundai enough!! Five stars easily!!

    Unreliable
Had this working briefly the first year I bought it but by the time the second summer came round I could (just about) to get it to start and idle, but cut out as soon as I applied throttle. New fuel etc. so wasn’t that. Got in touch with tech support who basically advised to strip down various elements to check wiring, priming etc – reasonable advice, but when that didn’t work offered to seek a tool then adjust the carburettor.Again no doubt reasonable advice – but at the point I bought this as I thought it would be more convenient to electrical options….. the sheer amount of faff just to get this running just isn’t worth it. Massively regret the purchase.

    Not extremely well built
Love the brand and this is my third petrol powered tool from you, however not all accessories are useful as it’s should be,extension arrived slightly damaged as well but thankfully I’m not using it.Petrol consumption much bigger that 250 cc lawnmower.Be prepared to spend extra 20-30£ for chainsaw oil and two stroke oil.NOT for a weak people, you must be in good physical health if you like to use it for over 5 minutes.Safety ear protection is absolutely necessary or you will become deaf!Alredy changed the pin that holds attachment. If you are ok with all that be sure that this tool will do the job

    Solid and efficient tools
Not the cheapest you can buy but excellent quality and it works very well indeed. I have had a similar one from Stihl in the past and needed to get a replacement. The harness is weird to figure out at first but once you understand where the plate hangs (for me that is over my right hip) it balances the weight of the tool really well so you can use it for long periods. You will need ear defenders though (just as with any similar power tool). The motor starts easily once primed with fuel and the tank holds a really good amount.Be careful that you fit the solid spinning cutting blade though as it can vibrate if you don’t. You will soon realise when you have done that. All the tools work as you would expect and make it really easy to get those jobs done in the garden.

    Good value
Good value given that it comes with 4 attachments and an extender shaft.Seems to be solidly made but time will tell.Starts easily and 50cc engine works well with brush cutter compared to my old 30cc model. Slightly heavier but not uncomfortably so.

Disappointing. So far not a great experience
For what it is this product seems like REALLY good value. A higher range alternative is considerably more expensive and so I wasn’t expecting perfection. However Hyundai’s name is reassuring and, on balance, I expected better. My experience is that three out of four bolts holding the pull cord starter to the machine loosed and fell off off after several hours active use (Some hedge cutting but mostly strimming). These things happen, and for next time I’ll be sure check all the bolts for tightness before using the machine. The bolts were lost somewhere in a field, but it was a reasonably easy problem to fix. And so, rather than sending the machine back for repair, I asked Hyundai for replacement bolts and suggested that I repair the machine myself. (I calculated that this would be quicker and less troublesome for all parties). But this decision was FOLLY.HUGE FOLLY because Hyundai’s service department (GenPower) sent me the wrong bolts! Not once but again, and again, and again! Only on the fourth occasion did they get it right (Thank you). And so, for weeks my machine was unusable. Yes, the people that I corresponded with were communicative and seemed more than willing to help but, to get it wrong so many times, is ridiculous! There was NO excuse for this. I had very carefully gone through the required protocols. I had given the correct details, invoice number, model name – I had even sent detailed photographs of the problem. At one point I had the impression that I was dealing with a third world country (I have lived and worked in several) – although the willingness to fix the problem was there, there was a basic lack of understanding and instead, creative sidestepping – e.g. they sent me the correct bolts without the flat washers and spring washers (the factory specification) and I was told: “our parts team that the bolts have been tried out without these washers in the workshop and it works fine. Thus, if you install it without the washers, it will work as it should.”Seriously?I pointed out that actively working with a machine in a field was very different to running a machine on a bench in a workshop. And that the machine was built with these washers for a reason. And, that, had I sent it to them for repair, and it had arrived back without the factory specified washers then I’d have sent it back. Fortunately they resolved to attend to this.Next, they sent me bolts that were way to big and with some washers but not all.To their credit – on the fourth attempt they managed to send the all the correct parts. Thank you.Genpower must have wasted a fortune in postage. But, they only cost me was my time and frustration. Frankly I’d preferred to have payed postage than experiencing the inconvenience. But, this was not the end. Within an hour of getting the machine restarted and in use the the fuel filter fell off inside the tank! And then, after that, the fuel tank started leaking because a fuel line slipped off!!The machine no longer starts although I have reattached the fuel line. It’s been this way for weeks. For now I do not have the willpower to do battle with Hyundai’s service department again. So they don’t even know about the new issues. I do not have the time to waste. And so now this machine sits unused.I will do something about this sometime in the future. I have almost all of the three year warranty left. So I have plenty of time before that expires.Would I recommend this machine to others. Or, for that matter ANY Hyundai product sold in the UK.ABSOLUTELY NOT!
