Slightly unsure about the fit of the lid
First impressions were that you don’t get a lot for your money. This mug currently costs over thirty quid. That’s a lot for a camping mug. However, it is made from titanium and these products do tend to cost more than aluminium. It is ultralight, which is what you would want from a titanium camping mug. It comes in its own drawstring bag, which is a nice touch and is useful when storing the mug in a backpack. I went for the ice flower option, which is quite an unusual in its appearance. It has white flecks all over it – rather like ice crystals. If you’re more of a traditionalist, then you might wish to opt for the sandblasting option. The mug has an attached, fold away handle which serves its purpose well and feels sturdy.The mug also comes with a lid. This brings me to my main ‘concern’ with the product. The lid on my mug doesn’t sit very firmly on the cup. In fact, it is rather loose and lifts off very easilt. When I look at it up close, the seal isn’t entirely consistent all around and it is slightly raised up on one part of the lid, near the handles. I don’t know if this is supposed to be the case or not, as it does look similar in the product photos. I have included a number of close up photos of my product. To me, this doesn’t feel entirely right, as the lid does pop off very easily. If this is a manufaturing error, I would have expected tighter manufasturing tolerances at this price.

Und doch steht so eine Tasse jetzt vor mir und es dampft Kaffee daraus.Der Aomiun Becher fasst gut 250 ml Kalt- oder Heißgetränk. (Ja, Füllmengen-Angabe ist größer, aber man schüttet ja nicht bis zum Rand). Wenn es denn letzteres sein soll, kann man die leicht federnden Griffe abklappen und sich so vor der heißen Tassenwand schützen.Das Kristallblumen-Design ist auf den ersten Blick gewöhnungsbedürftig, weil man ja üblicherweise nur die glatten Becher kennt. Mir gefällt es allerdings sehr gut. Ist einfach ein netter Blickfang (siehe Fotos).Damit das auch so bleibt, wird die Tasse in einem kleinen Pouch mit Kordelzug geliefert. So bleibt sie beim Transport gut geschützt.Tolle Tasse und ein unverzichtbarer Wegbegleiter für den Campingtrip. Sehr zufrieden.

This is a nice, lightweight mug. The mug with the lid weighs just 74 grams and holds 300ml of liquid. The lid is not water tight but will help keep your beverage hot.The mug feels like it could be made of aluminum but the product page says it’s titanium. Titanium is much harder than aluminum so I took an aluminum ruler and tried to scratch the bottom of the mug. I ended up wearing the corner off my ruler and there was no mark on the mug, so, in my opinion this mug is actually made of titanium.At the time of the is review the mug is priced at $34.99, which, I feel is a little expensive for a mug, but if you need something as durable and as lightweight as titanium, then I feel it’s still good value.
