Brilliant harness.
We have a flat faced dog, so my usual choice of chain collar isn’t acceptable. This harness is good to stop my dog from pulling on the lead. Easy to put on, comfortable for the dog to wear and the tightening sensation trains him not to pull very quickly.I’m not very tall and have some mobility issues, so I can’t allow my dog to pull on the lead.I totally recommend this Halti harness. It’s very well made and sturdy, with reflective stitching.

Doesn’t stop pulling but does help.
This harness doesn’t stop the pulling but it does reduce it.I was looking for a harness to help my feral 7 month,14kg pup stop pulling. I walk my 5kg dog and pup together and I was just so fed up with being dragged and my little dog being dragged with me. I just felt so disheveled and exhausted after I walked him. I trained my 52kg Akita and she was a handful at first, but this boy is just relentless.I already had a “no pull harness” (and I say that loosely) but it just wasn’t cutting it, so I jumped on amazon to see what i could find.I came across the halti harness and thought that may do the trick. I looked at others but they were more of a string type and we feared that those harness would cut into his armpits.I measured my pup, looked on the halti harness diagram and choose the harness size to suit him, which was medium and it fits perfectly. The first time that I put it on my pup, he turned to me and gave me a look to say ‘what’s going on?”, he wasn’t overly impressed but carried on trying to pull but not getting as far as he did when he wore his previous harness. As a bonus I now feel that my arm is not going to be ripped out of it’s socket everytime i take him for a walk.We originally wanted to change his harness, from the ones that go over the head and clip both sides of the body, as with this type of harness when he was pulling the front of it kept riding up to his throat and putting pressure on it, plus it didn’t stop him pulling. With the halti harness it sits comfortably in the right place. It also has a soft tube (although it moves) that covers the straps going under the armpits. The glider can be a bit fiddly/frustrating, especially when you have an impatient pup, but the straps are nice, thick and sturdy and do not cut into him.It has a clip at the front and one on the top and also a little grasp finger hoop (well I think that’s what it is??) It has a padded chest piece and the quality is nice. When we go out for a walk we put his training halti lead on, when we get to the field we put his 10m flexi lead on to let him have a run. We were concerned that it would hurt him when he got to the end of the 10 metres which he usually does as full speed, but seems absolutely fine with it and carries on chasing and playing with his sister. On the walk back, I put back on his halti lead, but instead of having it in my hand I put it across my body, wearing it on the opposite shoulder to the side my pup is on and I clip both clips to the top of the harness. This is when training him becomes easier, I have a hand free to give him treats, he is tired from a run (more likely to listen) and it’s a bit harder for him to pull a (–)kg person, so he’s right by my side, obviously I stop with him when he wants to sniff, etc. It makes a more of a pleasurable walk.To help with his loose lead/stop pulling training, I do try and wear him out with a flirt pole in the garden for around 10 minutes, this helps him concentrate a bit more and we also use threshold training with him before a walk, for him to have a calmer state of mind.Time will tell with his training, but this harness gets a thumbs/paws up

No more pulling !!
This works wonders for our 9 month old Labrador. The minute we started using the stopped pulling. We have been using it for a couple of weeks and heâs still not pulling like he was. It has made walking enjoyable. We use it with our normal lead attached, didnât need the separate control lead. It seems very sturdy and I think it will last as there is still some growing room . Putting it on is quick and easy. Excellent value for money!

Great for dogs that pull
Excellent. Really helps my dog from dragging when walking. Better control at roads also.

Good Quality but My Dog Still Pulls!
Mixed reviews here iâm afraid. This is a very good quality harness and it really does look comfortable on my 7 month old Cocker Spaniel. However, it is perhaps a little too comfortable as he now pulls more than he ever has done! I bought this harness to try and stop him pulling whilst out walking, however in short, this harness has had no positive effect on this whatsoever. Please do not buy it hoping for a miracle cure to your dog pulling problems, as itâs unlikely to work. Such a shame.

Transformational
This harness was recommended by a couple we met on holiday who could see how much our Vizsla X Pointer pulled. For the first 2 years of her life she was part of a hunting pack in Cyprus. For the 6 years she has been with us no amount of loose lead training , No Pull harnesses , halti leads around nose have worked. This harness has literally transformed her walks, no more pulling and she is more relaxed to explore rather than the urge to pull. We’ve now been able to put her on a long lead to give her more freedom and even though we don’t attach to the front ring on these walks she still doesn’t pull or lunge. So pleased with it that we bought one for our 10 yr old Vizsla who doesn’t particularly pull but he’s comfortable wearing it and considering the price in comparison to others we have bought its great value. Can’t recommend enough.

Stops the choking but pulling??
Medium fits a 9 month old border collie, weighting 13.5kg, with plenty of room for further growth. The Halti harness stops the pulling choking which is awful to hear which no other harness (x5 later) has managed to do, even the running sporty harness. However the Halti harness has not stopped the pulling with the use of one lead on the central ring, so I may need to use the two lead approach, once my pups bones are fully developed. I will continue to use this strong well fitted harness to prevent the awful sound of the choking pulling which my pup is perfectly happy to wear.

Great quality
Lasted for years and my husky hasn’t managed to pull herself out of it or damage it. When this one does wear out, I would definitely get another one.

Åu an köpeÄimin ön tarafında tasma izi oluÅtu. Daha seyrek ve kısa tüyler var artık.

We have a 45kg golden retriever who constantly pulls however this harness slows him right down when we use a double sided lead on the front and back rings. Itâs also comfortable fir him and doesnât cut into him like others have. After a while we can use it just from the back clip and itâs more comfortable for him and easier for us.

Takes at least a few active brain cells to figure out how to properly get it on but it is a fantastic harness. It gives you control and there are no fears that a weak plastic closure will snap. This has no closures. I have a pair of large dogs and when they see a rabbit they will bolt for it. I retain complete control with this harness and I repeat that the best part is that there are no weak points. Fits well, looks good and I highly recommend it.
