    Good Value will buy again
Birds in my garden love them. But had to install a squirrel proof feeder to keep the Starlings at bay otherwise they’d eat it all in a very short time.

Very hard however rooks break them for other birds to enjoy
Nowhere near the quality of the RSPB suet balls I’d been using which the birds were devouring I originally reviewed these as 1 star because they were so hard and wouldn’t fit on my spiked holders without crumbling…However..A sort of miracle happened..The smaller birds were unable to eat these so I had to invest in more seed as I didn’t want them to go without and then..A pair of rooks which have been visiting the bird table daily arrived. I don’t know much about birds but this pair have always allowed the other birds to feed and politely waited for their turn at the table taking just small amounts of food and moving on to allow another bird to take their place which has really touched me. They flew down to the bird table yesterday and in turns broke up all these hard suet balls, taking just small amounts for themselves and leaving the suet balls crumbled on the table for the other birds to help themselves. I couldn’t believe it but today they did the exact same thing. Initially when these huge birds turned up I found them quite ugly and even somewhat frightening with their long scary looking grey beaks but they are in fact the gentlest most polite birds to visit my garden and it just goes to show you cannot judge by appearances as I watch the jackdaws, blue tit’s and robins attack each other for food while these gentle creatures look on like wise elders…
