    Superb Little Mower
An easy recommendation. I’ve only got a small lawn and wanted something relatively inexpensive to get the job done and after trawling the internet for ones that were well reviewed, I landed on this one. After two uses I must say I’m impressed, works very well. Assembly was relatively straightforward, the only issue was getting the two bars that attach the grip to the mower was a bit of a pain (especially as it on wheels), a second person was useful. After moving into our house the lawn was a bit of a marsh and this cut well and didn’t skip a beat in its first use. I was concerned it might slow up or cut out but no trouble there. The second go over was a breeze and took all of ten minutes which is a good estimate on future cuts. Manoeuvrability is great and the 30L cutting bag is a good size for the unit, the mower not being too cumbersome even when full. The strimmer was a breeze for edging and made light work of it. This was a doddle to set up.Battery worked well in both units and lasted for two cuts and some strimming, so should last for at least the rated time. Good practice when using lithium ion batteries is to let them cool down first and then charge fully for storage.Overall an easy recommendation to make so if you’re in the market for a lawnmower for small lawns, this is a worthwhile purchase.

    Great, for smaller gardens
Like most of the other reviews for this lawnmower and strimmer package, my positives are the same. Assembly is easy and the instructions are simple to follow. Both of the appliances do what they should, I.e. mow the lawn and strim whatever needs strimming. The cordless functionality is very handy and allows you freedom as well as peace of mind, given that no cord can be mowed or strimmed in half. The not so great is the Battery capacity, which would struggle to cope with anything more that the tiny lawns which come with most new builds. In addition, the grass collection bag gets full very quickly. If you have a small area of grass, a green waste bin and your clumsy or accident prone – this is the mower for you!

    Lightweight but mighty!
I waned to wait and write this after having used the mower and strummer for a whole summer, which I did last year.We have a lot of grass to cut. 2 large areas and one smaller. I use 2 batteries in the lawnmower doing these areas. We have 3 and keep them charged ready to go. This was quite an outlay, but at £50 a time for a gardener it soon paid us back! The strimmer is very light and efficient and so far still working perfectly. The mower is a joy to use. So light, and the grass basket takes a surprising amount. I use the second shortest setting and it has never cut out, neither has a battery ever jumped out after at least 20 uses.I do clean it after every use with a stiff brush and we have sharpened the blades twice, like I would with any mower. I feel these are fantastic value for money and really easy to use.

  4. N. CLACY

Lightweight…. but, sadly, in more ways than one!
I don’t normally write reviews but, if only to warn others, feel I should in respect of this product.I have a very small front garden (5m x 4m) It’s level and the grass is kept short.Attracted by the good reviews and the reasonable price, I purchased one.Sadly, this has proved to be a real waste of money! The mower is certainly lightweight, easy to assemble and has reasonable battery life, but it struggles at even the easiest cut.Even left on the highest cut setting and with a fresh charge, the blades falter and stop, constantly forcing you to tilt the unit back off the ground to allow the blade (with nothing more than fresh air to slice) to regenerate enough momentum to be lowered back onto the turf… only to grind to a halt seconds later. This makes for a poor and uneven cut and the experience is both, time consuming, and frustrating. As a result of the poor performance of this machine, I borrowed my neighbour’s machines to cut my lawn. They are both electric mowers, one a Bosch, the other a Karcher, and both sailed through the same task with aplomb.Due to the lack of use due to the slow growing summer months, I have now passed the return date to get a refund on a machine which is really not fit for purpose. Please do not make my mistake and unless you have a “bowling green” lawn with grass no more than 1″ long (In which case you’d probably be using an expensive cylinder mower anyway!) avoid this mower at all costs it will leave you frustrated, disappointed and £180 out of pocket which could have been used towards the cost of a better machine.CAVEAT EMPTOR!

    Yardforce Mower & strimmer
Having previously only used a corded flymo, i used both the mower & strimmer for the first time today. The dust didn’t fly up as much as with the flymo & the mower collected the leaves from our trees at the same time without blowing them away. It’s so handy not having a cord to worry about, or extending our extension cable to get to the bottom of the garden. So far, this seems a really nice lawnmower & the strimmer seems good too. It’s fairly straightforward to assemble both.I took my time cutting our medium sized garden & strimming the edges. The battery clicks into the mower & strimmer easily, lasted well transferring between the two & i didn’t have any problems. Our garden is quite uneven & the mower faired well.Definitely considering buying a second battery
