Good value for money
WE have just moved from a sem-urban home into a town centre home, and want to pamper the pair of blue tits that have visited our small patio garden. We’re quite impressed with the box, which is well made and seems sturdy, and it will be simple to hang onto the wooden fence. We’ve fitted a blue tit plate over the hole so it’s reserved for the blue tits. We think this is good value for money. If we have resident robins I will buy another and pamper the robins.

Good quality, brass plate covering attachment hole is loose, had to rescrew in.You need to remove the front panel via the 2 screws, you can then use a secure screw or nut & bolt to secure it.

Storm Eowyn (sp.) destroyed the house I had in the garden for many years. This is an ideal replacement. it looks the part, it is of great quality, AND within a couple of days Coal Tits were exploring inside! Cleary the perfect habitat for small birds. It is sturdy – so the next storm – of which there is bound to be one – will try to do its worst – and fail!

Nails sticking out
Whoever’s assembling these needs to learn how to do so safely, or find a new job.Both bird houses arrived with nails sticking out on the inside, which could obviously be really harmful to birds.Make sure you open them up to check before any birds set foot inside.Once you fix them up and make them safe, they’re actually quite nice boxes. Just let down by the fools with nail guns putting them together.

Good quality and quite robust. Have not put it up yet as nesting season is over but looks easy enough to mount onto a fence or wall.
