Great cat grass!
This is an excellent product! I live with multiple cats and have done so for years. Some of my guys love a nibble of cat grass. Which means that over the years, I have bought A LOT of cat grass from a lot of different companies and this grass is absolutely the best! Great little pots that don’t take up much room. Good instructions (with funny little asides). Good quality potting soil. A decent amount of seeds. Grows well and quickly. Nice thick verdant growth. Cats love it AND, unlike some, lasts a good few weeks before you need to start growing a replacement. I’ve ordered more. And I will be ordering some for my local cat rescue the Celia Hammond Animal Trust too, as these are the perfect size for placing in cat kennels and crates. So yes, I thoroughly recommend!

Good quality seeds, long-lasting grass
I’ve been really pleased with this grass, so much so that I’ve just ordered another 4-pack. It grew quickly and thickly – you get plenty of seeds in each individual pack and all the seeds I got germinated. You can also see through the transparent plastic what a strong root system it has. I bought my first 4-pack in mid-March and waited until one container was on its way out before sowing the next one, so that my cat had a continuous supply. It’s now slightly after mid-May and I didn’t need to sow the last container until a few days ago. I think that’s good going. Most importantly, my cat likes it, which is why I’m getting another pack.

Fair growth
The photos are are day 6 after being planted. Pots 1 & 2 were the ones with more seeds grown having the seeds crushed and the other drenched quickly in water before planting. pot 3 and pot 4 I wet the first layer of soil with different amount of water before putting the seeds and covered with top soil then wet them again. I did not exactly followed the instructions because reviews said the seeds didn’t grow much. On day 10, they’ve grown pretty much the same. However, the cat just ignored the grass. UPDATE: The grass died

Product has potential but the mould growth issue needs resolving.
I’m disappointed with this. I loved the fun and clear instructions, simple enough even for someone like me who doesn’t have green fingers. The separate sachets for top soil and seeds are a good idea, but the pot needs to contain less soil (or be bigger) as the germinating shoots lift up the top soil making it spill over and making a mess. Although I was really careful not to over water the soil still produced mould. I even waited with the second pot until the grass was withering before I watered slightly and it still grew mould. You don’t see this happen in lawns so I don’t understand why it should do so here. The cat didn’t really seem interested either, took a few nibbles and then gave up, so I won’t be buying it again. The product has potential, but the mould issue really needs resolving.
