  1. Adam Cohen

Not technically as easy as it looks.
It’s working, but it was a faff to set up. It plugs in easily, but it needs programming and that’s not easy. I had to send it to the VoIP service provider in the end, who were very helpful. Now it’s been programmed, it seems to work perfectly. Does what it is supposed to do.

  2. Dave

Good but needs extra items for use in the UK.
Works very well, but if using in the UK it is supplied with a power unit for use with a US style wall socket, ie two prongs. You will need a Shaver/Toothbrush adapter to plug into a UK 3 pin socket. Power unit is universal, 50/60Hz 100-240 Volts. Does not come with an RJ11 to BT Socket converter so you will need to buy one of them also. Does not come with any sort of set up guide. Hopefully your VOIP supplier can inform you of the settings required. Quite why this is not mentioned in the description is anyones guess. Does not require a 12v battery as described. Most online guides to setting up seem to reference the older model. Many settings do not match.

  3. Terry E Lang

Works as advertised. Took it out of the box. Followed the instructions. VOIP was up and running.

  4. Amazon-Kunde

  5. Allan

Good product. Worked as expected. I used this to connect our FAX machine to VoIP DID.

The Grandstream HT8XX series of ATA’s are among the best available in my opinion. They are extremely flexible and work very well. I have several of these devices performing as VOIP to Analog telephone line adapters for fax machines, and I have one providing pulse dialing for a Western Electric 500 series rotary dial phone.
