Just few days back, I bought this Car play wireless dongle and it works perfectly fine.Very easy to connect through my iPhone and seems good with Sound quality. Connection was OK and stable when I was driving and didn’t see any lag. Set up process was easy and pretty straight forward similarly like normal bluetooth. It is convenient to use and a worthy with this price. Overall quality and Performance feels satisfying. Compatible with my iphone, quick charging abd long lasting battery life. Iâve been using this most days for a week for the past month (Land Rover). Plus points are itâs easy to set up and once set up, it connects to the phone really quickly/seamlessly once the ignition is on. Itâs a really small and neat design thatâs easy to hide. Thereâs a second or so lag on controls but not the end of the world. It makes it a lot easier than messing around with a wire.Main downside is the lag is such that you canât really use satnav via the system (Google Maps) as itâs a few seconds behind where it thinks you are and/or the system just spins around. So itâs good for wireless music but I canât rely on it for longer journeys where I need satnav.Itâs not a direct replacement for wired Airplay due to the satnav lag but for the cost, itâs decent.

Hello, just background info, I am an IT Professional for almost 8yrs. This device is super simple and easy to set up. In addition, I own a 2016 BMW 340i with no OEM carplay. My carplay is aftermarket (MMI). Yes, this product works with aftermarket wired carplay.Shipping: Came in a small box with two cables about 2-3inches long. The cables are a USB-A male to USB-A female and USB-C male to USB-A female. With small but detailed instruction WITH troubleshooting procedures should you run into issues.Physcial Product: Less than inch in LxW. Sleek and simple. When plugged in does generate a little bit of heat but nothing too bad as of now. Would recommend placing where it can breathe/Airflow available. A little light indicator shows power on/color changing feature. Not super bright but if you dont like lights then Iâd suggest playing with which side its oriented on or using the cable to flip its orientation.Product functionality: The product is great especially for its price. I thought it may not work with my aftermarket Carplay but it did to my surprise. Follow the instructions per the given guide and it is as easy as that. The product is converting wired to wireless so there is a very marginal delay. 1-2.5 seconds when changing songs (No sound degradation though) and I havent experienced delay/degradation with navigation or calls. It connects within about 10-20sec of the vehicle being turned on or just the battery and turns off about 10-30sec (when your car fully powers down). It connects via bluetooth at first then to wireless/wifi, so you may notice in your bluetooth settings it says connected then to disconnected but in the wifi/wireless settings it will pop up as a known network. To disconnect, you will have to do it via the wifi settings on your device, turn the vehicle off, or physcially unplug the adapter. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and will recommend to buy. I probably will get another one for my girls car too. Only time will tell if it holds up, but atleast initially it was definitely worth the buy!
