Compact, challenging and perfect for quick home sessions
I picked this Twister Arm Trainer to spice up my home workouts and it’s become a solid little staple. The U-shaped design and three adjustable resistance levels make it genuinely effective for arms, chest and shoulders — no huge setup needed. The foam handles grip well, and even on the lowest setting you feel a decent pull, which is great for warming up or layering into a bigger routine. It’s compact and portable, so I’ve used it in my flat, on train travel layovers and even in the uni lounge. The metal spring feels sturdy and the whole device packs away nicely. One caution: it’s tougher than it looks — if you’re new to strength equipment, start slow to avoid wrist strain.Overall, for a simple, no-fuss tool that adds real variety to bodyweight/gravity workouts, this one delivers. It won’t replace a full gym setup, but it’s ideal for those shorter sessions when you want something effective and transportable.

Great arm blaster – compact, tough, and slightly humbling!
I bought the Twister Arm Trainer thinking it’d be a nice little addition to my home workouts. Turns out, it’s not so “little” once you start using it — this thing means business! It’s compact, easy to store, and feels solidly built. The resistance is strong enough to make you question your life choices after a few reps (in the best way possible). It really targets the legd, arms, chest, and shoulders — perfect for a quick pump without needing a full gym setup. The handles have a decent grip and don’t slip, even when you’re sweating and wondering why you thought this was a good idea. It’s also surprisingly quiet — no squeaks or creaks — so you can work out without sounding like you’re wrestling an old gate. That said, if you’re new to training or have weaker wrists, start slowly. It takes a bit of getting used to, and the resistance might catch you off guard. I am a gym goer and quite strong, yet still find some exercises difficult as it works different areas.Overall, it’s a great bit of kit for the price. Portable, tough, and effective — just don’t be shocked if your arms start feeling like jelly afterwards. That’s how you know it’s working! 💪

Incredible value for money.
Incredible value for money considering the quality and sturdiness of this device. At the time of review this is on offer for just over eight pounds which is absolutely amazing in my opinion. It is surprisingly well made and very sturdy. Actually, you have to be fairly strong in my opinion to use this even on the lowest setting. Initially I could hardly bend it and had to put it down a couple of notches before I was able to use it properly. There are obviously a variety of exercises you can do, but just trying to close it puts real torque on your wrists elbows and shoulders.Very straightforward and easy to use and a novel and surprisingly well made piece of exercise equipment to add to your workout.

A decent portable trainer for whenever you don’t access to weights!!
This is a decent upper body resistance trainer that has several exercises to target various different muscle groups. I like the fact that the resistance level is adjustable, depending on your strength level and requirements. It is well made and should last a long time. Whilst it’s no replacement for a barbell and dumbbells, it’s far more portable so can be packed away in a suitcase and taken with you when you are going to be away from proper weight training facilities.

Challenging but versatile
Very challenging, but versatile enough that women may also find a use for this, especially if they’ve previously done some strength training. Being female and 60+, I tend to use it for legs and abs (bit easier than the arm exercises and you can hold it at the bend to control it better) – it’s a beast for that and has helped to correct my knee and foot imbalances. One star dropped because some more info on correct technique would be welcome (your arms don’t have to be covered in bruises!), but it’s incredible value at the current offer price of £8.39.

Twister Arm Trainer is a nice, straightforward tool that delivers on its promise
I recently got my hands on the Twister Arm Trainer, and I have to say, it’s been a fun addition to my home workout routine! This little piece of equipment is surprisingly portable. I can easily stash it away when I’m not using it, which is a definite plus for my small living space.Using it feels pretty natural; the U-shape design hugs my arms just right, giving me a solid workout without feeling awkward. I’ve been focusing on my chest and arms, and I’ve noticed that it really helps engage those muscles. The twisting motion gets the blood flowing and adds a unique twist (pun intended!) to my typical exercises.I like that I can adjust the intensity based on how I’m feeling that day. It’s great for a quick session when I don’t have a lot of time. I’ve even taken it to the park for a change of scenery. Overall, the Twister Arm Trainer is a nice, straightforward tool that delivers on its promise. If you’re looking for something compact and effective to spice up your arm workouts, I’d definitely recommend giving this a try.

sturdy frame, tough resistance, minimal adjustment
This arm trainer works fine – it’s got a high level of resistance, and the frame is quite rigid. It does have three position ‘settings’ for making it slightly easier or harder to bend – but ‘slightly’ is the important word because we’re only talking in 10’s of millimetres of extra length from the pivot point so the effective of the different feels minimal at best.
