Great product, excellent value, amazingly fast delivery
I now have two of these, one for home, one for work. I was looking for a mat as my physiotherapist had given me some light exercises to do as part of my rehabilitation from severe back trouble. This product is just the right size – I am 6ft tall – very comfortable to lie on and is thick enough to accommodate my bony tailbone. To me it feels like a quality product, yet I got this mat for £21 approx, which appears to be a very competitive price for products of this type.In terms of delivery, it was dispatched from the Amazon UK warehouse and I was stunned at how quickly both mats (ordered on separate occasions) were delivered (standard delivery). I ordered around afternoon-evening and the mat was dispatched the following day. I was told it would be delivered two days later, but actually it arrived the following morning, which was effectively next day delivery! This is the first product I have ever ordered from Amazon (unbelievable I know) and it was just great service.There are some negatives in relation to the product, but they don’t concern me enough to lower the rating. As previous reviewers have stated, it’s not mega-portable, but there is a serviceable carry strap, just it’s not adjustable enough to make it a shoulder strap. Yes the mat does curl up if you keep rolling it up, but as someone else said just roll it the other way every once in a while. Finally, yes the product does require degassing, just hang it over a shower rail for 24hrs or so and you’ll be fine. I quite like the smell of the rubber though (reminds me of carpet warehouses), but then again I like the smell of tarmac and creosote.Overall – as stated in the title – Great product, excellent value, amazingly fast delivery.

Okay so I just got the mat this Saturday morning when it was due to arrive after 3 days or more. (Thumbs up to that) =DThe first thing I noticed is how LIGHT this mat is.I was expecting a bulky sort of heavy rolled up mat. Reason for why it’s so light, its because its made of comfy, squishy foam.It does have a weird smell but they did mention on the pack that it is made up of synthetic stuff, but i personally find the smell pretty good =PThe mat has the perfect length and width.(For me, but I am pretty sure anyone would agree)When I rolled it out, the mat seemed like it was glued (not literally) together so it required a bit of a push here and that. This reassured me that I will be working on a mat with good grip, so you can comfortably workout without worrying you might roll of the sides or the mat moving around.The straps are pretty cool too, there are like circle straps on each end bound to the straight strap in the middle. You basically wrap the circle velco straps around each end of the mat, and use the one in the middle to lift it. Very useful if you want to carry it around.All in all very pleased as I have never bought a mat before so was pretty worried I wouldn’t like it. I can’t really compare it to others either so I just trusted all you guys on amazon writing the reviews =D.(I was just literally doing a lot of research and read through all the reviews before I settled)Hope this review helped. Overall a good buy
I purchased this mat about one week ago. Was delivered quickly with great packaging so no damage what so ever.I use the product for yoga and floor based exercises, namely situps and pressups. The mat has a 10mm thickness so is thicker than alot of mats i have seen advertised for the same price. It is made of a durable material and i can see the mat enduring much wear and tear. It is of a good size (myself being 6′ in height) and i can lie down comfortably. The product comes with a strap to allow you to carry the mat around, the strap is only basic design and connects at either end of the mat using velcro strips.I have used this mat on a carpeted surface as well as a timber floor and have observed no mentionable movement (even when doing vigorous front lunges) so i can say you wont have to worry about any slippage on the floor when you are working out.Once rolled it is quit bulky due to the thickness of the mat although in terms of transporting it this isnt much of a negative.Overall a good quality mat with a thickness that beats the competitors for the price, i would certainly recommend this product.

Amazing difference
This mat is a few mm thicker than those sold for yoga (10 rather than 6) but that makes all the difference for Pilates. It is so much more comfortable for the rolling back exercises and the ones where you lie down and rotate your legs to massage the spine. You still feel all the benefits of the moves without the sense that your vertebrae are too closely in contact with the floor. The thinner mats are fine at home on a carpet but, if you go to a class on a hard wooden surface, this one is a must. Some people say that balancing exercises are more difficult on a spongier mat but I do not find this and you can always step on to the floor for those. It is obviously chunkier when rolled up than the others and there is a carry strap fastened with velcro rather than a bag (it will not fit the usual size of case). The strap is adjustable to go round but is not long enough to go over my shoulder but that is fine for a short walk or to take in the car. It is a plain black and has a serious look – you feel you need to live up to its image! I am very glad I bought it and enjoy my class so much more with it.

Mat arrived today. It is a good length but I would have liked a wider mat, this one will do. It came with a 4 inch long gouge/dent on the topside which spoils the appearance a little. The smell is quite strong just now but that may pass. The carry strap is too short for going over my shoulder which is a shame. However, it is quite comfortable to work on and that is the main point. I am glad to have my own personal mat to take to yoga and Pilates.

Es cómoda y mullida, cualquier postura que se haga sobre ella resulta cómodo en comparación con otras más delgadas. Se ve de muy buena calidad aunque todavÃa no le he dado un uso intensivo para saber si dura o no.
