Quality at a low price
Needed a replacement strimmer as mine had decided to give up. For the price I paid I wasnât expecting much but this is a really great product from Bosch. Easy to use and quite lightweight. Handle can be changed to match the angle of cut. Donât know how long the line will last but itâs not that much for a replacement spool. Wire stands up to some tough garden weeds and a good length of cable.

Great Product and extremely great value!
Ok sooooo, keep in mind I have NEVER cut grass be it a lawnmower or strimmer before in my life. It came today, took 5 minutes for me to assemble (Iâm bad with things like that). Took me a second to figure out also how to actually turn it on ððð. My little garden was an absolute mess having recently moved in. What I didnât do, was tighten the line enough so it did catch and I had to untangle it and redo the line spool tightly. I caught the line a 5 times (my own fault being a newbie) but after about 1 hour (20/30m of that was me redoing the line and trying to catch my cat in heat to bring her back indoors!!!) Iâve managed to tidy my little garden significantly! Would highly recommend itâs comfortable to use, easy to assemble, easy to adjust on your mistakes. For the price itâs a 10/10 for me. The cable could be a tad longer but I had a spare 10m cable extension. Ive also ordered a pack of 6 spare line spools at like £10 from amazon also for next time round! ( Search Bosch strimmer lines, youâll find it easily). Waiting for my rake to be delivered but Iâve attached photos of the before and after with my limited experience! Very happy customer!

Good value for money
Impressive strimmer, I thought from other reviews that I’d have trouble with flimsy wire but I was pleased it was quite strong and did the job. Easy to use ( I did have to find a YouTube video to put it together, as the instructions were missing ,otherwise it would have been a 5 star ) not too heavy either

This is an amazing little strimmer
This strimming is a hench little unit..my grass was literally taller than my toddler with thick vines the strimmer has held its power and the string has had to be lengthen only a couple of times and that’s after cutting my whole front garden and half of my back garden… ð¯ % recommend. I paid a lot more for one a few weeks ago and it broke withing 10 minutes of use. This one is great value for money

Fantastic value!
Brilliant value, just £30! – So cheap, lightweight and so so easy to use!We managed to use it to cut all our grass (a small garden) and it worked brilliantly. Great power & performance and as it’s plugged in, no need to worry about battery life. Long enough cable as well to do the whole garden!

Very basic
I didn’t realise that not all strimmers can swivel to cut vertically or automatically release the cutting line, and I’ve only had basic cheap strimmers before. This is a VERY basic strimmer and yes, it strims grass, but I wish I’d read the description better. I’d say the description is somewhat misleading.. With no vertical cut, I’d not say it is ideal for garden edging. (where grass meets patio slabs) Semi auto spool.. nope. it says the spool unwinds when you press the trigger, but also tells you to not press the trigger frequently… and that line wears down very frequently. To release the line you have to turn the strimmer upside down and keep pressing a button to release a few mm at a time. If you’re hitting anything hard like a stone, or wood, you’ll spend a lot of time with it upside down. Just make sure someone doesn’t come along and press the trigger while you’re doing this! (or make sure you unplug it each time you need to do it which is a nuisance) My other strimmers were great for smacking the grass and weeds out of the gaps between patio slabs, but don’t expect this one to be able to do that with it’s weak line.But if you just want to trim a small area of grass and will be trimming against flower borders rather than hard edges, then this is probably great for that task. I expect it would also tackle leafy weeds well, but would struggle against harder stems like brambles.

Not worth the hassle!
Very disappointed with this trimmer, was expecting more from Bosch!Bought this to replace my old Black&Decker trimmer which I had for 25 years without fail.The line feed on this Bosch trimmer is awful. Every time the line snapped just going along the border edging, it doesnât just brake off a little bit it snaps all the way into the trimmer line housing. Which means the automatic feed doesnât work. You have to take it apart to completely re feed the line!! If you take a little bit too much line it flies off as you restart the trimmer and it cut my leg several times!Just not worth the hassle, wish I had stuck with Black&DeckerCanât return it as Iâve been away and itâs just out of the 30 day return ð

Being electric I didn’t expect much but to my surprise it worked. I don’t have bushes or anything woody just grass and leaves and I wanted to make it smaller to put into the composter and it worked.
