Nice little thermometer
Great little thermometer to tell you how hot your fire is and how well its going. Reasonable price for this too. Happy with it.Has a little stand as shown in the video and also has a magnet to attach it to the stove pipe I’d you have yours exposed.

Cheap and cheerful – does what’s needed
Firstly, it’s cheap. Having said that, it’s also reasonably well made. It looks good being a black face on a black flue pipe with white print and a red pointer, so it’s doesn’t look too obtrusive on the log burner. It’s difficult to say exactly how accurate it is as a temperature gauge, but it seems to do the job ok and I’m fairly certain the sweet zone (marked on the gauge face) is quite accurate. Fixing, via a built in magnet, to the flue is as simple as it can be as long as you have a steel flue pipe. There’s even a neat little wire handle on it so you can put it on or remove it when the fire’s hot. It certainly does all I need it to and I see no point in paying a higher price for something else that isn’t likely to be any better than this one.

thought it looked abit flimsy at first, but works a treat attached to the stove flue. Have checked accuracy with a meat thermometer and spot on. dosn’t go up gradually, tends to click up to next grade, but ideal, especially on on older stove in older property, dosn’t look modern

Bought this because it was a bit smaller and not as garishly coloured as some.It does look relatively inconspicuous stuck to our flue, however I wish the upper and lower ‘ideal’ range markers were coloured, as they are hard to see from any distance.It seems to work well though and it’s useful to know when the fire needs the air supply turning down.

The wire hanger is rather useless, magnet holds the gauge to my flue though and seems to read relatively close to what it should, little awkward to read without getting close to the stove as the writing isn’t as clear as it could be.
My order went missing, l made a second purchase l hope it arrives, alot of mail is being delivered to the wrong address. –

El precio oscila entre 8 y 11 eur depende del momento. Satisfecho con la compra para controlar el rendimiento de una estufa chimenea Invicta Chamane. Me levanté por este artÃculo respecto a otros similares por el logo, resulta agradable unos árboles más que ver una dirección web. ArtÃculo sencillo de fácil instalación y blister de fácil apertura y cierre.

Lo cercavo da tempo ed è stato una rivoluzione nell’utilizzo della mia stufa (Jotul F500) che ha bisogno di raggiungere una temperatura particolare per ottimizzare il suo funzionamento. Gli altri anni andavo ad occhio, secondo me sbagliando spesso. Con questo termometro posto sul tubo di scarico con la calamita, anche mio figlio di 16 anni riusciva a chiudere l’aria quando la combustione raggiungeva il giusto calore, così da permettere alla stufa di andare al minimo bruciando i fumi di scarico e durare per le ore promesse da Jotul (almeno 8). Quindi almeno nel mio caso, spendendo pochi euro, ho risparmiato un bel pò di legna durante l’inverno. Ottimo!!!
