Very good. Worth the money.
So it is sturdy and applies the pressure necessary to achieve a good joint. Good metal thickness 4mm allows for a good bond.Installed under the worktop at joints it must be placed at least 10mm apart as the thread on the bolt does not run all the way. Allow a 25mm gap for safety and to allow a solid bond. It does not matter which peice goes on to which side of the joint to be fixed. Install is simple. Affix one, then match up the other. Large flat head screw driver will do it up. I used one per joint.

Perfect joint, strong and clean result
It did a perfect job! It connected two kitchen countertops seamlessly. Between the base and the countertop, I also added a bit of Gorilla Glue and then inserted the screws, so everything became one solid piece. So far, everything still looks flawless. This method of joining two L-shaped kitchen countertops is excellent because you don’t even need to cut or glue the countertops themselves. You simply join them as they are, and on top, you can apply a bit of silicone or Corofil so the joint looks uniform. Using this method, the connection point of the countertops is protected from swelling over time. Excellent product – the final result looks great aesthetically, and the process is extremely simple, quick, and effective. The build quality of the product also seems to be excellent.

Heavy duty & strong but no good for my application
I ordered these connecting bolts to attach two lengths of kickboard together.Unfortunately in my case there was too much movement in the bolt and the boards didn’t line up.These are probably too heavy duty for this application and would be better suited to only joining worktops.

Poor thread fitting.
The female thread in each one of each pair of brackets is very poor, I’m going to source some back nuts to fit behind each threaded bracket to add a bit of strength but as I don’t recognise the type of thread it may prove a bit of a task.

Fitting wooden work tops these brackets pull the joins neatly together, with very little fuss.I’d use them again plus it saves routing out!Good product

We had purchased a couple of wooden worktops from Wickes. They came with connecting bolts but required us to use a router to cut holes on the underside in order to install them. That fell into the too difficult box….spotted these which fix to the underside of the worktop and then you tighten them in order to pull the worktops tight together. Did the job fine.
