I have utilised this 5v power supply to power several digital thermometers rather than rinning a usb cable to a usb power plug for each unit. I cut the plug from the end and wired -up the thermometers using wago connectors all inside a small project case.All thermometers are working a treat, the power plug doesn’t get hot, so all good, problem solved, project complete!The possible issue for some is that the power lead exits from the top of the power plug which is no issue for me but may not be ideal for some use cases.Ă‚ÂŁ12.34 at the time of my review, good value, and a considerable saving on purchasing usb power plugs and l4 x leads.
