    good purchase
    Arrived prior to due date and in excellent order. Used the blanket for a neighbour who unfortunately fell on a cold day, and had a wait for the ambulance. Would recommend keeping these in the car and at home as you never know when they may be required

    Simple lightweight “space blanket”
    You need how to use these as there are 2 sorts of reflective foil blanket[1] like this – lightweight, can tear[2] reinforced, strong, heavierIf you want a tough reflective layer to use in bivi-shelters, or under camp mats when sleeping on ice-fields or glaciers look elsewhere.This type needs to be used very carefully to keep a layer of warmth around you – often in combination with other layers. It tears if handled badly and can’t easily be tied (hint, your sticking plasters can be useful here)If you are heading to the hills, do take time to research how you would keep an injured climber safe and warm BEFORE you head out. There are excellent web-pages and online videos that teach you this.My teaching is that you really need 2 blankets per person to make a real impact – which is why I buy these in multi-packs. In the UK, where rain is common, also look on Amazon for the much tougher “Bivi-Bags” that can double up as rucksack liners, as the two items are often needed in combination, are both inexpensive and relatively lightweight.

    If you get caught in a snow storm, cast adrift in the Antarctic or need to roast that extra turkey, these things are a must. Lack instructions. Since I bought them, haven’t had hypothermia so good sign.

    Ich habe für meine Pflanzenlampen (für den Wachstum) eine Art Reflektionsfolie gesucht. Da bin ich auf preiswerte Rettungsdecken gestoßen. Nach etwas längerem Versand, konnte ich die Rettungsdecken testen.Für meinen Geschmack sind diese allerdings sehr dünn, wirklich sehr dünn.Der Preis ist dafür gut.
