A strong and rugged handmade tool with a lovely leather cover
As someone who likes to be prepared for everything, this was a tool I was happy to add to my survival toolbox.It is well-made and of decent construction after testing it on multiple sticks and logs there were no chips or burs.Seems to be strong and it gets the job done.Ease of uses dependent on your own personal strength but for me it was a case of being able to drill into wood using a nearby stick was very handy.One end you can use as a drill and to make dowel holes the other end is useful to make dowels and as a turning point for the drill.Leather protective cases nice well put together with the convenient belt open loop.Overall I was very happy with this product and a big thumbs up from me.

PROS-a great woodsman’s tool-auger is robust and very sharp-welds are pretty high qualityCONS-the cutting edge (Scotch Eye cylinder side) is thinner than I expected, it may not hold up well to abuse (back of the cylinder is very thick and robust)-not the greatest sheath material (or snap)NOTES-I don’t understand why there is a secondary sheath for the auger.
