Exactly what I wanted
Wanted a small TV for use in the kitchen whilst cooking, at the sink etc. Iâve had a cheap 10 inch suspended under kitchen cabinets for years, acceptable, but not a great remote, picture or sound. Decided I would need to go bigger, but still wanted it as small as possible to fit like the old one. This Cello seemed to tick all the boxes, HD, Smart, WiFi, good picture/sound, decent remote and at 16 inch it would fit in nicely. On reading the reviews I was a little concerned about the software and many people mentioned how slow and bad it is. I decided to buy anyway, bearing in mind that if it really was a serious problem I would return. Iâm very glad that I ignored the critics, as Iâve found the TV to be very nice, exactly what I wanted. Size is just right, picture and sound great, remote nice. I connected to my WiFi and installed the main apps we use like Netflix, IPlayer etc. all working well. The home page is very much as you would expect from a smart tv and quite easy to navigate. There are heaps of channels to choose from, though as the tv is to be used specifically for limited periods whilst in the kitchen, we will be using just a few. We have big screen tvâs in the rest of the house which serve as out main entertainment. Being a new item I expected the installation and use would be a little different to other TVâs in the house, but to be honest itâs much the same. When my wife came home and switched it on, she was able to navigate and select without any instructions from me. I will mention one small hiccup which I experienced during the initial installation. When I believed I had completed the installation, although I found a great deal of stations, I was unable to locate the obvious terrestrial bbc, itv, etc. I made a quick call to Cello and someone talked me through a re installation to find the problem. Very simply, it was a setting I had missed, which searched and installed all stations found through the antenna. Within a minute or so I completed the re installation and all was good. Iâve only had the tv for a few days, but as of now I am very pleased with my purchase. Iâm not sure why there are bad reviews mainly concerned with software, if itâs a little slow itâs no concern for me, Iâm not looking to save nano seconds.

Good TV, but casing it quite chunky.
I bought this for a motorhome and wanted this model because it was modern, SMART,and did NOT have a DVD player as many of the Cellos still do. The picture is excellent on HD channels and sound is very satisfactory for such a small TV. Cello also sell a small 12v soundbar which I might consider. Downside is how fat this TV is for a modern device. It really is quite chunky right to the edges of the unit and makes it look a bit old fashioned from the side. So if buying this for a tight space you might want to check the size. Also, I live in northern Ireland, about 12 miles from the border and can watch both UK and Irish channels on my home TV. But with this TV it seems I might need to keep switching the location country settings to get the best of both. If I choose Ireland I get a very limited set of UK channels. If I choose UK I get no Irish channels. I don’t think I can get them all at once which is a slight pain. But otherwise it’s not a bad TV and I like that it’s a UK company and they have a good reputation for 12volt TVs.

Reliability and Excellent Customer Service
We recently returned to the UK to live. We had to buy everything, from tea spoons to a big screen TV, to tables and chairs to a car. You name it we had to buy it.The best thing we bought, was this TV. It is placed in the kitchen, relies on a Wi-Fi extension only and has worked flawlessly for a year. Great picture and easy to use.I bought a different Celo first. It was not suitable for the kitchen. Customer service was excellent, about returning it and recommending the correct one.

Amazing TV for the price. Great quality picture with decent sound. Responsive software. A bargain from Amazon Warehouse. Bought to use in my motorhome and replaces a Cello 19 inch which was just too small. This 24 inch is perfect and I no longer need the Bluetooth speaker I’ve been using as the sound is good. Happy bunny!

Quality control issues on two tvs
The second one of this model I have bought in 5 days. This time the dvd player freezes and wonât eject the dvd, or wonât start, it just okay the intro then wonât proceed. This is four different DVD discs.Last time the aerial socket was squashed in the box.I had an original cello 14â 12v which lasted a good few years.If you do buy one, fully check all functionality as soon as you get it as both mine have suffered from quality control issues.
