    Perfect for plants.

    Do not use for animals, splinters everywhere.
    Extremely sharp edges, I wouldnt ever use this for any animal that is likely to get cut easy. I bought this on accident instead of coco soil for my rats and hamster and could never have used it. I am using it for my plants now which is much better and it will grow to a good size and is good value for money IF you use it for plants, would not function safely for animals. I wouldnt use it for even reptiles I got so mant splinters. Be careful of how much water you use too, I accidentally added too much water as it isnt easy to know if youve added enough or not. Once you get the hang of knowing how much water to add it is easier to use. Appearence wise its thin splinters and big chunks.
