Bought two of these over the years and both have had hedgehogs in residence. They are good quality, sturdy and last well. Hedgehogs seem to love them. They blend into the garden well and are hidden in the borders.

Can be extremely hazardous to hedgehogs
I bought this in good faith after seeing the positive reviews, but a friend then pointed me to a number of articles detailing the serious hazards that these basket igloo hedgehog houses pose, in that there have been a number of incidents of hedgehogs getting their spines caught on the basket, being unable to move, and then dying. In short, itâs a product which should not be sold. Iâm additionally a little narked that the return is not a free one, that Iâm having to pay £3 to return a dodgy product to the seller.
