I recently bought this 8-socket extension lead from Amazon and have been really happy with it overall. It also has three additional ports and one USB port, which is really convenient—I love being able to charge my phone directly without needing a plug adapter.One of the best features is that it has individual on/off switches for each row of four sockets. That makes it super easy to control power and helps save energy when you’re not using everything at once.The cable itself is nicely braided and feels very durable and high-quality, which is a big plus.The only downside I’ve noticed is that some of the sockets are a bit difficult to plug into at first. Some plugs go in easily, but others require quite a bit of effort. I’m hoping that loosens up slightly with use, but it’s something to be aware of.Overall, though, it’s a really solid extension lead and definitely worth it for the number of features and build quality.

With 8 separate mains sockets (with switches operating two groups of 4), 3 USB A and 1 USB C sockets, this extension lead plug/power strip is extremely useful if you need to connect many appliances (such as TV, soundbar, cable/satellite box, DVD players, games console, etc.) in the same place, together with devices operating through USB cables (for example signal splitters or converters).it is wide, rather than long, placing the power sockets in two rows of 4 (with could cause some difficulties with some items such as WiFi repeaters), with a main switch controlling each group of 4 sockets.The USB ports, placed at one of the power strip’s end are a welcome bonus for this extension lead.The only improvement one might have added would have been to have the sockets individually controlled by separate switches (rather than in the two groups of four), but this is just a minor point.Very easy to use and setup, very good price.And it allows you to keep your equipment safe from dangerous power surges.
