No nonsense brush and shovel
No nonsense brush and shovel, and a good size, way bigger than the toy tools you get in a typical companion set. I like a shovel pressed from a single piece of metal, which this is. No joins to fail, no handle to fall off. It’s not especially thick steel though so i wouldnt go shoveling piles of coal with it, but fine for scooping ash and general hearth cleanup. Indoors should be fine where rust shouldn’t be an issue. I’ll probably put a hook on my surround and hang them up. Add some big tongs to this and you are sorted.
