A reliable and easy to use lawn mower
A great lawn mower and I’ve used Flymo’s for many years. A good buy!

Lightweight and easy to use
Much lighter than my old flymo, so really easy to manoeuvre. Has adjusters you can fit to lower the blade which gives a nice short cut.Only downside is the grass collection ability is not great, so quite a bit of loose grass blowing around the garden.

If Vibration Present, Try moving the Fan & Blade a Notch
I like Flymo’s. This is my sixth over a period of time – including two stroke petrol models – and all are wonderful for cutting on slopes. (There was a four stroke model which wasn’t suitable due to oil starvation). As age creeps up and managing the starting and weight moved me on to the 330 grass collector model, which after more than ten years is getting tired – motor OK but plastics cracking. This 360 model was on offer and is only slightly heavier and with a larger grass capacity so was good value.Arrived on time and as usual well packed. Easy partial assembly but on running the motor up the machine vibrated terribly. This is the first time I have experienced this and it only cleared by re-arranging the fan/spacers/blade on a number of permutations as there was an imbalance between the components. Unusual but the positions have been marked so that if blade needs honing, it can go back in the same order. The extra cutting width made light work of cutting and less stops to empty the grass box. This design is basically the same as 14 years ago with slight modifications to air flow and grass box. If it ain’t broke – don’t fix it would appear to be Husqvarna’s thinking. . A solid long lasting design

Flymo are not what they were
Bought this as a direct replacement for an older model which failed after around five years. It is instantly apparent that the build quality of this product is vastly inferior to previous models. Flymo have added some âusefulâ features and reduced the overall quality. To sum upGood points – lightweight however the overall quality is poor so how long this mower will actually last is questionable.Adequate cut – not good, adequate, ok for a utility lawn but not if you are looking for a perfect one.Folds down neatly and easily.Bad points – poor build quality, very very flimsy. Lightweight, brittle type plastic, all components are thinner, lighter and less robust than previous models.Useful features that arenât actually useful – Cable clips, to wind the cord round for storage – I didnât even fit these, I simply coil the cord and leave it on top of the mower as Iâve always done, some may find this useful but not me.Clear grass box – you are supposed to see when the grass box is full, good idea but doesnât work, as the mower cuts it flings grass into the box and if itâs even slightly damp – and this is the UK after all – it coats the top of the box and leaves you no wiser as to how full it actually is. I use the method I have always used, if the mower starts to dump grass from the bottom itâs probably full so just lift the lid and check.Cable is getting shorter.

Cheap and Nasty – Flymo Quality has Plummeted
I’ve had Flymo movers for years. When my last one broke I ended up buying a cheaper lightweight model in march 2021. The reason being I couldn’t get anything else due to lockdown shotages. That one lasted a year before the plastic handle mounts broke.Faced with a new mover I’d thought I would buy a better, heavier model, similiar to my original. So I ended up with this…. thing.Where do I start? It feels cheap. Every piece of plastic (and it appears to be all plastic) is thin, flimsy and feels brittle. I have no objection to the use of plastics, but please use ones that don’t feel like cheese. In use it rattles – the rattling is louder than the motor. It doesn’t do a particularly good job of picking up grass either. The controls feel cheap, they’ve used the cheapest flimsiest plastic they could get away with and it just does not feel like a quality product. In the past it feels like they built these to a spec, now they build them to a price, and it reflects in what you get.Normally I’d consider a flymo’s lifespan to be 7-10 years. I suspect this one will be a lot less. How does it cut? It does and okay job of levelling a lawn. It hovers well enough not to be a chore, but the flexing in the plastics and constant rattling undermines any confidence you may have in it.Final thoughts. Flymo used to produce decent mowers, They were never the best, never the worst. The quality and features were always good for the price. This thing has no innovation, no quality and it generally feels like flymo are not even trying. If you’re looking for a mower and even if you have positive experiences with Flymo in the past (as I have) I can only recommend you look at other brands, even if you have to spend a little more. If you buy this, it will dissappoint. One final note. I hate writing negative reviews. I like to be as positive as a I can. Unfortunately in this case I can’t find anything good to say about this machine.

Works well
After looking at lots of different lawn mowers and reading lots of reviews I finally decided to buy this one. I like that it folds up so fits easily in my small shed. It is not too heavy so I can carry it while folded up. It does a good job of cutting my grass even when it is a bit damp. It is a bit annoying that it blows a certain amount of cut grass and other items on the grass around the garden rather than collecting in the grass collection box. I am happy with my purchase.

Elkontakten är sådan som används i England. Behövs adapter för att ansluta i Sverige:-(

Es fehlt der Hinweis dass ein Adapter für den Betrieb in der EU oder in der BRD benötigt wird

I had an earlier version of this model; the only reason I replaced it was because it was irreparably damaged by two different idiots. I find it very satisfactory and would gladly recommend it.Unfortunately, the new blade which I had bought just before the final ‘Wrecking’ of the previous model will not fit in the latest model ( because the ‘locking pins’ are no longer circular- a reasonable improvement).

Gerät gestern bekommen jedoch mit einem Stecker für UK – dieser passt in keine Steckdose in Ãsterreich bzw. Deutschland – warum wir so ein Produkt hier in Ã/D verkauft? Eigentlich eine Frechheit
