PROS:(1) This is a great tool for emergencies to keep in the car, which is what I plan to do.(2) The steel and build are heavy duty. When you screw the handle together, it feels solid.(3) It comes with an instruction manual that shows the different ways you can use this product (but see “notes” below).CONS:(1) The case is too cheap for this product. It’s thin and plastic-y feeling. Also, the stitching on one of the velcro pieces came off almost immediately, so there’s nothing holding the case in place.NOTES:(1) There are trade-offs with multi-function tools. For example, the product materials say you can use the smooth side as a machete, but it’s not really that sharp (which kind of makes sense b/c you can hurt yourself if you try to use this product for all the other functions if the blade were as sharp as an actual machete). The serrated side is sharper though.(2) I think this is best as an emergency/survival tool, which is what the title says. It would not be your go-to for a machete, shovel, self-defense tool, or other purposes. But it can do enough of each if you’re caught in a bad situation.

Great survival tool. Very nice shovel. I love how it breaks down and is nice and come packed. It feels very durable and made well. The material feels strong. It has a bunch of different functions on it so it’s not just a shovel. Great for an emergency situation. I like to keep this in my car just in case of an emergency. I thought it was a really great value for the quality of this emergency shovel.
