You get what you pay for
The stuff looks pretty decent when you open the box, very well packaged. There the issues start. Just lifting the panels out of the box you need to be incredibly careful as even the lightest touch is enough to scratch the surface coating. The biggest issue I had was that the panels are so thin that they are extremely difficult to work with. Just the slightest knock can crinkle the tin. I had a fair idea of this when I bought these because I was specifically looking for something light and relatively easy to work with.With the fixings I used roofing screws with a rubber sealing washer, the roof under is solid wood with building membrane over the top (membrane less that 1/2 a mm thick) but just doing up the roofing screws was enough to warp the surface but it should do the job of keeping the weather out which is what I got it for.All in all it will do the job but donât expect to do it without some damage occurring.I still need to put the ridge flashing on and I have resigned myself to the fact that this will cause still more damage but with this stuff it is the price of doing business as long as it keeps the water out I will be happy.
