Very good treat!
Got some for my horse and friend’s horse as they are in the same stable. We mixed few treats with their food. They seemed to like them very much.After all, you want good treats as they deserve them and yet, you must pick carefully what you give them.Very happy with these lozenges!

Tasty Snack Horses Seem to Enjoy
These linseed lozenges were picked up for a friendâs horse, mainly as a healthier alternative to the usual sugary treats. They went down well â the horse didnât hesitate to chomp them, which is always a good sign. The low sugar content is reassuring, especially when you donât want to overdo it with sweet feeds.They have a nice firm texture, so they donât crumble into dust in your hand, but theyâre not rock-hard either. That makes them easy to feed by hand without worrying about bits going everywhere. They also worked quite well as a little reward during clicker training sessions.On the downside, the size of each piece is fairly chunky. Thatâs fine for a bigger horse, but it might be nicer if they were slightly smaller so you could spread them out over more rewards. A resealable bag would also be useful to keep them fresh for longer.Value for money is decent considering the bag is a full kilo, though they do seem to go quicker than expected if youâre handing them out generously.Overall, theyâre well received, donât make a mess, and tick the âbetter for themâ box compared to a lot of horse treats. A couple of small improvements and theyâd be perfect.

My horses love these
This is a 1kg bag of linseed lozenges which are quite small flat treats suitable for hand feeding or to add to a bucket feed. You could also put them in a treat ball, perhaps mixed with larger pellets to stop them being dispensed too quickly.My horses go crazy for these treats so although they have quite basic ingredients they seem to be good quality and very tasty.A bit small to keep in your pocket for hand feeding but I tip them into an old supplement pot to keep them fresh and crunchy, and just take a handful when I need them.

These linseed lozenges have proved to be a big hit with the horses. I like that they are low sugar and they are suitable for hand feeding. I have added a small handful to their feed and they have eaten them very happily. The bag is good value for money with you getting 1kg of horse treats and the horses are happy to recommend them.
