Premium Look with Fantastic Battery Life and Features!
This watch is a perfect blend of style and function. It looks incredibly premium, like a traditional timepiece, but is packed with smart features. The battery life is outstanding—easily lasting over a week with regular use! The health tracking (sleep, heart rate, workouts) is accurate and easy to read. A truly excellent smartwatch for men looking for a sophisticated, high-performance device.

Excellent smart watch. Crazy long battery life.
This is a superb smart watch. Looks fantastic and has loads of great features. It can even respond to voice commands and will talk back to you. Very accurate sensors and a tremendous battery life of up to 14 days. (Compared to a lot of smart watches that need charging every day!) This GT4 replaces my Huawei GT2 watch. A vast improvement including wireless charging. Plenty of faces to choose from and the AMOLED face is colourful and very clear. Plenty of customisable options. If you use it with a Huawei phone you can even access your calendar. Has speaker and microphone so you can take and make phone calls. I can even respond to WhatsApp messages with emojis, pre installed replies or custom ones you do yourself. You can even reply using a full keyboard. Very impressed. All together a brilliant watch. Highly recommended.

I was going to buy the GT5 but when I saw this for £99, I had to buy it and I am so glad I did!
I am over the moon with this watch. I had my sights set on it for a long time, but in the end, i chose the Huawei Watch fit 3, which is a beautiful little watch… but perhaps a little too little for my eyes, these days. So, I have been considering which watch to go for next, because the technology is always changing and I no longer see these things as luxuries. I love the insights I get from the devices. It helps me a lot- it encourages me to adopt better habits and it has me thinking in more practical ways about improving my sleep and then I can play music on this thing and it looks nice. Huawei watches are for me, the best looking fitness tracking (with some smart features on them rather than a full on smart watch) watches around. I appreciate Apple is a brand that probably does lead the field in this market, but I choose not to follow that way. I choose my way and I like Huawei. I have grown quite accustomed to the nuances of these watches like the voice guidance that kicks in when I start running. that is something I could live without, but its okay in the scheme of things. Still, a very nice watch and with a battery that can last around 10 days, I find with my usage, I am very happy with it. I have had most iterations since the Huawei GT2.. okay, sorry. I digress.Anyway, I was going to go for the Huawei GT5 pro but when I saw this watch on sale for £99!!!! all those memories of how I had loved the look of this watch came flooding back and I did not hesitate to buy it. I dont mind that it may not have all the features of the GT5. On starting the watch up, it received quite a big OS update from the Huawei Health app and it looks wonderful. very similar to the Watch fit 3 actually and I was very happy with that, but at least now, I can read the display..but that shows, Huawei do still support older models. Kudos to Huawei for that.I am very happy with this watch and my love loves her new Watch fit 3, which I gifted her yesterday.I can wait for the GT5..Update- I went for a run since the watch received its software update and I have just noticed that this watch is now giving running dynamics information ie ground contact time, vertical oscillation, balance – left/right.. something I have heard being promoted with the Huawei GT5..I am so happy with my purchase.

Great watch… loving the battery life
Battery life is excellent. Seems to last about two weeks between charges at my rate of use. The health info works well. It’s also one of the more stylish looking watches. Four stars just because there is an amazing array of available watch faces but you need to pay extra for them. However highly recommended so far. Says its swim proof.. not sure I want to try it but thats just my paranoia given the cost…lol

The *Rolex” of Fitness Watches. Love its accuracy!
I have purchased the new Huawei GT4 watch after sending back my Garmin which was pitiful. This watch which is less than half the price of the Garmin, but twice the watch. The technology in the Huawei GT5 leaves both Apple and Garmin top spec watches at the starting post and at £99 i have to say, its embarrassing…The build quality of the GT4 far outweighs the Apple and Garmin Watches and accuracy of the GT4 is pretty scary, considering its price at £99.00Here’s my findings so far,(My own personal experience as a Garmin enthusiast, having purchased Garmin products since 1990s)I am NOT biased and this is my personal opinion.I have had Garmin Speed detectors since 1990 and currently have a Garmin Dashcam. These are outstanding pieces of equipment.I know people will say the Vivo 5 is a budget watch at £229 but the Huawei GT4 is even more budget at £99 so why have they developed a watch far superior, for less than half the price? This review is regarding my recent Garmin Watch Purchase (sent back).***Garmin Vivo 5 )£229) VS Huawei GT4 (£99).***Sleep Data-Huawei GT4- Perfect sleep data with the Huawei GT4, and it knows when I’m asleep and when i awaken, automatically, unlike the Garmin, where you have to log it in the watch or app, which is stupid, as who goes to bed at exactly the same time every day? I have not in 60 years! The Vivoactive 5- The sleep data is wildly inaccurate. In fact you have to go to bed and get up at the same time and even then the data is totally inaccurate. It recorded me as asleep for two hours while i was watching tv!Swimming Data-Also, lengths in swimming technology in Garmin is twenty years behind times and totally misleading.I physically counted sixty lengths and the Garmin read 74 lengths. Way, way out. While the swimming app on the Huawei GT4 reads 60 lengths to my, physically counted 60 lengths, over seven days. Also, the Garmin only shows two pieces of data while swimming and if you have to go around people, expect another five to ten lengths added at the end.The Huawei shows all data simultaneously on the screen while swimming, the garmin does not even show the time and if you come off the screen its a nightmare to go back on, trust me!Aesthetics-The feel of my garmin was cheap. More like a £10 item out of a gift shop in Spain or maybe a duty free shop. (sorry folks, that’s how it felt to me)The Huawei is far, far more advanced than the Vivoactive 5 and aesthetically, in comparison it is like a Rolex. Even the strap on the Garmin felt cheap and plasticky, whereas the GT4 is stitched and substantial.Durability-The garmin has an open port for the charger and this concerned me in the pool. If you research it, some people are afraid to use them in the poolThe Huawei is wirelessly charged (wireless charger in the box), so completely sealed.TechnologyThe Huawei has voice prompts too and you can make and answer calls through the watch with exceptional clarity.Great too, to be able to listen to your current data, without having to look at the watch (all in spoken voice, not beeps)..I have a Garmin Dashcam and it’s totally amazing but the Garmin watches are a Fad, in my opinion.People are buying them because of the name, but no one is testing the accuracy (have you)?I am so glad i did, and within the return date.I think alot of people are supporting Garmin for the name, and that i get, as i have always valued them as top value and technology, but this watch was a huge huge let down. The Vivoactive 5 cost me £229The GT4 cost me £99 with a two year warranty. It looks and feels like a proper, value for money substantial watch too!If you dont believe me, hold a vivo 5 in one hand and a Huawei GT4 in the other. Its like comparing a Fiat with a Ferrari.

  7. Allen

The watch is a bit underwhelming, when I had a look at Huawei’s app store there was only 12 apps available for my GT4 version to download. It has fairly good battery life though taking into account the different health checks continuously running in the background. If GPS tracking is used it does chew through the battery at about 8% extra usage for a 45 minutes walk.
