Krunia 9.26” Screen – Superb quality and incredible value for money
We couldn’t be more pleased with the Krunia 9.26” wireless CarPlay screen. We feel that the quality of the device at the price that we paid represents incredible value for money. The various options that are included within the box for mounting the screen within a vehicle offer great versatility and choice. The set-up was very straightforward – physically setting up the screen within our car plus connecting our phone to it / Apple CarPlay. Following this initial set-up, the screen turns on when we start the ignition and, following the appearance of a simple ‘Krunia’ logo, it is ready to use after only a very short time, connecting to our phone automatically. We love the clarity of the screen (the resolution is 1600 x 600). The touchscreen is quickly and pleasingly responsive. We are using a Bluetooth connection for audio. Making and receiving phone calls is easy and the sound for both parties on the calls is audible and clear. With regards to our use of CarPlay (wirelessly), we have, so far, used the Google Maps (navigation), Spotify (music), Messages (the device read aloud a recently received text message for us and asked us whether we wanted to send a reply) and Call apps. All worked hugely impressively. When using Spotify, we are able to increase and decrease the volume of music using buttons on our steering wheel. We look forward to testing the Siri voice function. We hadn’t necessarily been looking to buy a screen for our car but came across the range of Krunia devices on Amazon. After reading about the features of the 9.26” screen, plus many very positive reviews about it, we decided to buy it. Following the simple set-up and our early use of the device, we are extremely pleased that we did.

Great unit for a great price
This is a good product, i bought it about a month ago and have used it every day since on my way to work or just going about day to day in my car. The quality of the display and response to touch is good, carplay always connects and works seamlessly with my phone as soon as i get in. The bluetooth connection is sometimes a little annoying to configure, i’ve found it works best when I just connect my phone to the car’s built in bluetooth function and play the music through there, which the unit allows for in the audio output settings, and also allows me to still use the steering wheel buttons for volume and skip control which is pretty much a must while driving. The screen display is good quality and clear, graphically it looks as good as my phone to me and it doesn’t really seem to ever give me any lag when using the touch screen function. Siri also works well, it picks up what i’m asking clearly when the windows of my car are closed and is able to complete tasks like sending messages, calling people, playing a song, etc as carplay should. As an earlier reviewer also noted in theirs, I too wanted a wider unit due to the unusual shape of my Ford Fiesta’s head unit, and this does the job nicely, it’s pretty much the perfect size to conceal the original tiny screen behind it, and the wire isn’t really intrusive or an eyesore which is nice. There’s probably a way to run it back behind the head unit trim and conceal it better but i really can’t be bothered to do that, it’s fine as is to me. I have yet to fit the reversing camera for similar reasons, but plan to do so soon. I also used to have it mounted further back on the dash, above the original screen and leant forward in front of it, but found the suction cup wasn’t getting a clean grip and would lean forward and look like it was going to fly off as i drove. I’ve found it sits and works best on the flat surface in front of the screen instead, there is a slight gap between this and the original trim but not really big enough to bother me in any way, and it still mostly conceals the old screen behind it as previously mentioned. At night time especially it looks really nice and uniform with the rest of the dash. Overall i’d say this is a great unit for the price, clear, responsive and reliable. I’d definitely recommend it if you are a Ford Fiesta mk7 driver like myself, or just in general if you don’t fancy paying several hundreds of pounds to take out the old unit in your car and have a new one fitted in its place, this is a very quick, easy, good quality and sleek solution for a fraction of the price.

installed this CarPlay screen in my car and it completely upgraded my driving experience. The screen is clear, responsive, and easy to use. Installation was straightforward and it connected to my phone quickly with no issues. Apple CarPlay works smoothly for maps, music, calls, and messages, which makes driving so much more convenient and safer.
