Greta unit. A brilliant addition to the car
Very nice unit. The screen is great quality and perfect size. Big and clear but not so big that it takes over the dash board.Has a suction windscreen mount or a self adhesive mount to go on the top of the dashboard. That also has holes in for screwing to the dash if you want.Set up is very easy following the instructions and then connections easily and quickly to the phone automatically everytime it is switched on giving the usual car play functionality. The power supply also includes an FM transmitter so you can get auto from the unit through your car stereo by tuning the radio in.Has an option for a reversing camera to be connected but it does not come with that.Have found this to be a great addition to the car. Great to have access to digital radio, navigation from the phone etc with easy touch access for answering calls etc.All in all very pleased with it

Great idea!
This is a great idea! I use this in my car to do things the built-in ‘infotainment’ system can’t. As a continuous glucose monitor user, I can watch my blood glucose levels on this whilst I’m driving, so I can see it at a glance, making driving safer! This is because of the screen mirror ability, it can mirror a single app or your entire phone. See picture for the mirroring of my camera taking a picture (obviously this was taken during installation, not while driving!) this makes it very useful for older and new carsIt connects with android auto or carplay so you can use maps and play songs from your phone whether they are saved to your phone or you use a streaming service. The touch screen is very responsive, no noticeable lag or anything. It took about 10 minutes to install, there are several mounting options including on dash or on windscreen, it then took just a moment to connect to phones Bluetooth. Set up is easy and it guides you through it on screen, see picIt works very well, it’s bright enough to see when it’s sunny. Good value for money. Would recommend

Good quality car play.
Fantastic product and super easy to set up! The wires are simple to tuck and clip away, keeping everything neat. The display is clear, and it connects to my phone easily with no noticeable audio delay—just a slight lag when pausing or skipping songs, but nothing major. The only minor issue is that the satnav can be a little slow at times, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Overall, a great purchase!

Excellent just what I was looking for
This is exactly what I was looking forThe original unit in my car was rather basic and I was thinking of changing the head unit for a more updated system, but after checking the price for a radio with sat nav and CarPlay plus changing the dash facia and wiring it seemed a little too expensiveLuckily I found this smart screen from Lamtto on Amazon for a fraction of the cost and basically it does everything I neededI was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the display unit, it feel solid with excellent picture definition and clarityOnce fitted it was simply to set up just plug the power into the cigarette socket then it only took a couple of minutes to pair my phone and connect it to my radio Bluetooth, there was also the ability to connect via a aux input (if available on the car) or set up using the FM option. The rest of the settings were simple and straightforwardAs soon as I turn on the ignition it just takes about 5 seconds to connect and automatically goes to the CarPlay screenThe extra bonus was the ability to use Siri to search for content on the screen, I used it to make a phone call and find directions on the satnavThere is nothing negative I could say about this product and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to upgrade their radio.

Fantastic upgrade to the car (Kia Picanto) adding multi-media capabilities at a fraction of the cost
This is an amazing piece of kit which upgrades the car with multimedia capabilities found in expensive cars! I bought this to put into my wife’s KIA Picanto which doesn’t have any multimedia capabilities. This has upgraded the car tremendously, it linked to her phone using Android Auto (Note you need Android 8.0 and above to do this). I have never used Android Auto before so didn’t know what to expect but it integrated with Waze which is what she uses for car navigation, and this was amazing! It had all her saved places on the screen. I also connected it via the AUX cable to the car’s AUX port, and using the audio settings screen I had the audio playing out of her car speakers. Then I tried playing music from the phone and it came out of her car speakers! There are also other apps and features on the Android Auto app like messages and notifications. They have also thought about how to position the screen and you can use a dash-mounted attachment, or a very clever adjustable arm that can sit both on the dash or from the windscreen, so the unit is within arm length to operate it easily while driving. It’s quite an upgrade to her car, for nowhere near the price of having it built in. Definitely worth the money and for so much functionality within a basic car!

Solid and Functional, With Minor Connectivity Hiccups
Installation was straightforward with no issues. The screen is clear, and the icons are neatly arranged, making it easy to navigate. There are occasional lags with connectivity, but nothing too disruptive. If I were to purchase again, I’d opt for a rectangular size for a better fit. That said, it’s a well-built device that serves its purpose effectively.

My car is from 2015 and has Bluetooth for my Android phone but that’s it. I really wanted Android Auto so that I could have a display with bigger maps, play streaming music through it and have my text messages read when they were received. I watched a number of online videos and reviews of various units and this LAMTTO looked like it was the best bang for the buck, so I ordered one.Out of the box, I followed the simple instructions of turning my phone’s Bluetooth and WiFi on. I had already paired my phone with the car, so I just needed to pair it with the LAMTTO unit. This went smoothly and the WiFi connection was also set up. I chose to output the sound from the unit using Bluetooth and that was it. The unit was up and running after no more than a couple of a minutes of setup. My phone is a Pixel and so I am using Android Auto. I was able to use the Google Maps app and YouTube Music. Everything works like a dream. What really impressed me is that without changing anything in the car or on the device, I am still able to use my car’s microphone for phone calls and the steering wheel mounted controls that came with the car for jumping from track to track on YouTube Music work (as do the volume and mute controls). If there’s anything else I need, I simply say “OK, Google” and make my request. It’s worked flawlessly.I wanted to change the logo from the default sports car to the car company logo so the device looks more “stock.” I contacted customer service and they walked me through the process via email. In case anyone is interested in how to do this there is a SD card reader under the sticker that has the button functions on the left side of the device. I formatted the SD card as an ExFAT device on my PC and created a 1024 x 600 72 dpi JPEG image which was saved as boot_logo.jpg on the SD card. I booted the device up without the card in the slot. After the device was powered up, I put the card in and saw a message that notified me that the boot logo had been updated. I shut the device down and removed the card. Upon the next boot, the new logo appeared and that was it. Thanks to Nancy at LAMTTO for the guidance to get this done. The only nitpicky downside I have discovered is that the even though there is an automatic switch setting between day and night mode for Google Maps, it doesn’t work. Other reviewers also noted this. All things considered, this is actually a small annoyance because it’s relatively simple to change the mode on the device as the need arises. All in all, I highly recommend this device if you’re looking to update an older car to Android Auto without pulling the whole stereo system as so many of the Android Auto head units do. I took a look at several different size configurations of these devices and this one allowed me to see a big Google Maps area (great for my old eyes) and the unit still sits below the horizon of the front windshield. I’d recommend before buying any unit that you find out the height and width of the unit, draw it up and put the drawing in the car to see the real estate it’s going to consume — you want to be able to see your entire windshield field of view. Safety first! I am now in the process of ordering a piggyback fuse tap to wire this into my fuse box so the cigarette outlet in the center dash console isn’t used and the install will look cleaner.Overall this is an awesome product and the company provides awesome customer support! I couldn’t be anymore pleased.

I’ve been using the LAMTTO 9 Inch Wireless Car Stereo for a few weeks now, and it has completely transformed my driving experience. Here’s my detailed take based on key performance areas:1. Connection Speed:The connection between my iPhone and the stereo is impressively fast. As soon as I start the car, the stereo powers up and connects to wireless CarPlay within seconds—no fumbling or long waits. It’s seamless and efficient.2. Connection Stability:Wireless CarPlay has been rock solid. I’ve driven on both city streets and highways, and I haven’t had a single disconnect or lag. Everything—from switching apps to responding to voice commands—feels quick and fluid. The touchscreen is responsive, and the interface is smooth without delays.3. Product Performance on the Road:The 9-inch screen is bright, clear, and easy to read even in direct sunlight. Touch sensitivity is excellent, and the layout is intuitive. Navigation is a breeze with maps clearly visible, and music and calls are crystal clear. It really enhances safety by allowing hands-free control without distraction.4. Overall Satisfaction:Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase. The setup was straightforward, the quality feels premium, and the stereo performs like higher-end units that cost much more. LAMTTO delivered on all fronts—functionality, reliability, and ease of use. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to upgrade their in-car experience with wireless CarPlay or Android Auto!

I really like this CarPlay device! It connects well, the screen is clear, and it makes using maps and music while driving so much easier. The setup was pretty straightforward, and the overall performance has been solid so far.The only downside is that it doesn’t stick as well as I expected. It tends to shift or move a bit while I’m driving, which can be a little annoying. I might try using a different adhesive or mount to keep it more secure.Despite that, I still really like it and think it’s a great value for the price. If you’re looking for a more affordable CarPlay option, this one definitely does the job!

This screen is fantastic! With only a little bit of setup it does exactly what it says it does, giving my old Corolla Android Auto compatibility so I can now enjoy my music and always have GPS available without having to touch my phone. I can also use voice commands to control everything. The many different modes also make it pretty flexible for any particular need you might have. You can use it as a speaker by itself for example.I have had a couple of times when it’s bugged out a little, but honestly, it’s been much more reliable than I would expect any $70 aftermarket device to be! For example, Android Auto once crashed when a passenger took a picture with my phone while it was running my GPS in an area there was no data service. It immediately reloaded but GMaps couldn’t redownload the directions without data, and so I was driving blind for a little while, which was not great. But also, it’s pretty reasonable that my phone had trouble playing music, relaying offline GPS directions, communicating with the screen through both BT and WiFi, and taking a picture at the same time, which is typically not something you need to do all at once. So, I chalk that one up to it being Android Auto on my phone’s fault.Pro-tip: Set up a driving mode so your phone automatically turns on Bluetooth and Wifi whenever it connects to either one (this screen requires both for Android Auto) and location for GMaps. Screen could be slightly quicker at booting up and connecting, but it does so pretty reliably within 5-10s max I’d say, so more than quick enough if I turn my car on as soon as I hop in, before putting on my seatbelt or doing anything I need to before I get going. This thing is also surprisingly sturdy! The reason I know is because the Texas sun was not forgiving on the adhesive in the pivot stand where it adheres to my car’s console, so I would typically come back to my car and both the screen and mount would have fallen onto my shifter and either the floor or the passenger seat. But massive props to the fact that neither the screen nor the mount have broken or even shown signs of damage after dozens of times this has happened! I’m pretty sure the pivot mount was meant to be stuck onto the glass, so that’s partly my fault too. And customer service was a breeze to work with and they happily sent me a replacement mount.I think I probably fiddled with it too much at times, including removing it and hiding it whenever I was paranoidly worried about someone being incentivized by the screen to break into my car in a particular area. (Who knows! They might not realize it’s cheap lol) I’m still going to slap the new mount onto the console instead of the glass, so hopefully I can find a way to take better care of it this time.

I bought this screen simply because of carplay. I’m currently driving a 2004 Dodge Durango and the stereo is not the greatest. This display does exactly what it says and it does it well. The screen is very bright that you can see it crystal clear in day light and it can be dim to a point where you can still see the screen clearly at night without it being super bright. The touch display response very quickly and at boot it only takes a few seconds to boot up and connect to my phone via carplay.AUDIO – The display does have several ways for audio output, Bluetooth, Aux Cable, And FM Transmitter, technically it has its own speaker too. But I didn’t use it to be honest. Bluetooth might be the best option for most people, I wish it was mine. But my stereo is locked in and can’t reset my bluetooth. So aux is the second best. Most car do have an Aux port which is the headphone jack to headphone jack cable. Very useful and as easy as plug and play. Probably the best option for most.FM Transmitter – i read another comment saying it was not good and I kinda would like to agree but I tested with both 12V Sockets that my vehicle has and the first one is right below the dashboard and it works it powers on and as soon as you turn the vehicle off and open a door the display turns off because power is cut, and this socket for what ever reason had a huge load of static. No matter what frequency, you could always hear static and very muffle. But I tried it on the second socket thats in side the middle compartment and there was no more static. Audio was clear and had no issues with the audio. It did however stayed on for a few minutes after the vehicle was off and the door had been opened. So I found that to not be Okay… simply because my phone would stay connected to the display until I was out of reach.Nevertheless- If Carplay is what your aiming for this is a great display. It’s big enough and maybe a little too big but overall I’ve had a great experience with it and it’s worked much better than expected.
