It had rained all night, and I was soaked through. In the early morning I was cold and wet, and aware that I might catch an illness. I dont normally bother with any foil blanket, but whipped it out and wrapped it over my shoulders and around my waist. There was an instant warmth, and it kept me dry and wind free. My shirt actually started drying out underneath, so by the time I got home I was half dry.I would recommend this for occasions when you get soaked, and are still far from home. It is very light weight and reusable.It may also block infrared, so may provide some protection from surveillance at night.
