Lovely little CB radio
I think itâs great, itâs not busy these days as people donât talk anymore they use WhatsApp , there are some local people around me that are always on it so earwigging is great, the supplied antenna does the job but nothing wrong with getting a better one, throw in some rechargeable batteries and you are good to go, Iâve been told my mic isnât great which wasnât good to hear but Iâm still happy, brings back memories from back in the day, from what I have read this is the best hand held available, looks the part also, auto squelch is great for using when auto scan is on , overall Iâm happy, brownie points for the wife who bought me it, come on people letâs bring CB back

Try a different antenna.
This radio is mighty fine. Saw a lot of people on the Internet saying the supplied antenna is not that good. I swapped that out for a cheap 27MHz whip antenna. Yesterday, sitting in a Dorset car park, I picked up a station from the Netherlands for sure and possibly a German station, as well as locals. First time using cb since the 70s. Good to be back! The supplied car attachment looks really good but I haven’t yet checked it out. Really great radio that works out of the box. Remember, using the small 6 battery pack will only Tx on low power. The supplied 8 battery pack gives the full 4W. Also remember to choose UK frequencies when you fire it up. Follow the easy instructions. Enjoy!

good but for the price could be better
Nice handheld CB but not without flaws. PROS. CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS, 3 means of power… battery/car 12v/rechargable battery, clear screen, loud volume, multi band. CONS, instead of car power, a USB/Mains power option would have been a better especialy as USB is so wide spread. For good use the radio requires 12v wired or 9v battery (6 x 1.5v alkaline) , but the rechargable option uses 6 rechargable (1.2v )batteries = 7.2v instead of a 9 or 12v tithium ion battery, this means the radio is under powered as a rechargable making contact over 1/4 mile unlikely. Supplied aeriel or Rubber duck aeriel is about as useful as shouting and debatably less effective , any purchaser is advised to order a replacement telescopic aeriel at the same time adding at least £19 to the overall cost.

Did not work when it arrived. The screen kept flashing, the machine just did not work.
Wasnât able to use it. The seal on the box was broken. I would like to add that I believe that it was this individual piece that was faulty. Not the model on the whole.

Un CB lavora sulla frequenza di 27 mhz. L’antenna a onda intera dovrebbe essere lunga 11 metri circa. A 1/4onda 2,75 metri circa. Se lo comprate con aspettative del tipo 3/5km da dentro un auto all’altra con l’antennino in gomma, lasciate perdere! Posso assicurare che 3/5km li fa tranquillamente all’aria aperta e comunicando con una stazione base (casa) attrezzata come si deve, vale a dire antenna sul tetto ecc ecc. In montagna cambiano le cose, dalla vetta potete fare anche 100km con 1,5 watt. Nel range di portata la radio si comporta bene, voce chiara e nitida sia in AM che in FM, sia per chi ascolta sia per chi parla. Ottimo anche il silenziamento automatico. Antenna è poco più di un carico fittizio da 50 ohm, ma visto le dimensioni che ha, è già pure troppo buona! Ultima cosa, la manopola del volume. à troppo troppo fluida, basta un soffio di aria per muovere il volume. Tutto sommato una buona radio per il prezzo che ha.
