Good well made compact camp cook kit
A compact and well made mess kit / camp cook set for 1 or 2 people. Good quality stainless steel materials and very good to use. A recent end of summer trip was the first test with this kit.Its small so of course the plates and cups etc will be small too, otherwise it wouldnt be compact. Seems obvious but perhaps not to everyone?Kettle performed well and easy to pour. Plates handy side plate size. Saucepan enough for soup, beans etc. Frying pan I got 2 rashers of bacon at a time then put that aside and got 4 eggs in and fried at once (thick but evenly cooked). Plates perfect for baps and kettle on for the boil then for coffee after. Tasty breakfast sorted. Pan cleaned very easy by boiling a little water on it and all came off no bother, no scrubbing.Its light for me as I pack it in saddlebags on my motorbike with a little meths stove.The cups are a bit small so i just brought my old tin mugs but not necessary as the kit has all you need. The fold out cuttelry is also very useful and nice to have in a handy single kit. All packs away well. Very happy with this and I’d buy it again if I lost this one.

Lighweight camping cookware set (650g)
The Odoland 10pcs camping cookware kit is all what you could need for your next camping adventure. The set weights around 650g. For cooking, the set brings a 1.3L pot and one frying pan. They are made of alluminium and have a non-stick coating. Itâs not advisable to use metal tools while cooking with the pot and the pan. The instructions ban to use a dishwasher to clean the alluminium pot and pan. The instructions suggest that you could cook food for one or two persons. I think that this could depend on the portions that youâre planning to cook. The remaining elements of the set are thought for just one person (one plate, one stainless steel bowl, one knife, one fork and one spoon). The stainless steel bowl is really small. I doubt that I take my cereal in such bowl. The stainless steel cutlery set could be useful, even though they are small size (that it could limit its use for some particular purposes). The pieces of this set pack very conveniently inside the main pot which itâs store is a mesh storage bag to provide extra protection during the journey. Overall, itâs a very complete and lightweight alluminium camping cooking set. Once the camping season starts this year, I will start using it.

I tried these pots in my kitchen, on my camping stove, as a trial or test, for an upcoming bike packing trip.They are very well made, sturdy, & the lid fits both pots well.The first thing I wanted to test, was, do the handles get hot? Well, no. Not after 20 mins of use.Secondly, are they stable, when full and are the handles adequate? Yes, all fine.For an idea of size, I used the smaller pot, and cooked a big plate of ham and leek dehydrated pasta, in 110 ml of water, then added a small bag of sun-dried tomato and garlic couscous. All fitted with ease, and tasted great.This will be perfect with my single burner stove, for cooking light meals and making a coffee/tea, on multi day or single days out. Might even leave them and the stove in my car!!ðExcellent value, and extremely well made. Highly recommend these great little pots ð

got the pan set and very pleased with it, handles good firm grip. heat resistant . light weight but looks durable , the little cup is ok but could have been a little wider but a fun set , cutlery works well

A good item and lightweight,aint used yet but looks well made,The delivery guy needs sacking tho he buzzed my buzzer and didnt even deliver it to my door but to another persons door and they handed the item to me 7 hours later,But apart from that im happy

Not bad, but not the best
I have several camp pot sets of varying quality and price.When you are backpacking (as opposed to car camping), then for me, design, lightness and versatility is key, especially when justifying its carry weight.730g is not too bad a weight, but I personally would remove the cutlery set, which weighs 80g.Why include metal cutlery with a non-stick coated pot set anyway!Good to include for comprehensiveness if you want a complete camp cooking set though.The pot set is OK, and my scales said 558g including the bag, but without the cutlery.I especially like the small stainless cup, although it is probably too small to sit on most gas burners, especially when trying to remove from the burner.The thing is, I already have one of the best camp pot sets there is, especially for backpackers in a Trangia 25 which includes the best alcohol burner, a kettle, two pots, frying pan, handle and a stable base and wind break built in for about 2x the price (I got mine for £15 more than what this Odoland set costs).I also have what Trangia use for their non-stick range, which is anodised Aluminium. Not as good as non stick coatings as far as performance, but I would still prefer it.Adding the Trangia gas burner then elevates the Trangia to the next level, which is where these Chinese pot sets cannot ever get close to the same versatility, hence value.That is not to say that this Odoland pot set is rubbish as it is not. Far from it!It’s just that when you have tried the best, then everything else feels secondary.Still recommended though!
