Come summer I lye on one in the early/late sun for a healthy tan.Sun tanning in the early and late sun is very healthy as the sun rays go through a vast area of the ozone layer as the world turns. Stay out of the sun from 9am to 4pm when it is dangerous to human skin.

These come very compact, which is quite convenient for storing in a first-aid kit or emergency go bag or anything like that. They take up very little space shrink wrapped/zip locked. I would say, good luck trying to get them back into the same shape they come in once you take them out. They’re about what I’d expected. I picked these up to put into each of the emergency / first-aid kits we have for various purposes. Featuring wind and water protection as well as helping with heat retention and being reflective are all positive features for the purpose of putting in an emergency kit. The compact size is a massive bonus.Likes:- Water protection.- Wind protection.- Thermal / heat retention.- Reflective material.- Very compact, and convenient to pack into an emergency kit.Dislikes:- Trying to get them packed back into the little packets they come in, is maybe not an endeavor that I am up for.

These are exactly as they’re supposed to be. They’re nice thin easy to carry and store Mylar sheets. They resist stretching and tearing pretty well, they’re not too transparent, though you can see shadows through them when the light is sufficient. The edges aren’t sharp so not much chance of paper cuts. They each come in a ziplock bag, all six of which are inside a shrink wrap bag… So if your’e hiking/camping with them as emergency gear, you can pack them individually or as a whole package.Every first aid and survival kit should have at least 1 one of these products, and this package of 6 is as good as any other I’ve used in years of camping and canoeing.
