Nice Radio
Great little radio. Picks up the 2 metre repeaters no problem with the right antenna, either a telescopic or tactical antenna work great. Also works great on the 70 metre even with the stock antenna.Easy to program I was up and running in minutes. This is the Bluetooth version works via an app, Iâm not really sold on Bluetooth but It can come in handy if youâre are programming on the fly.Speaker sound is good , so many radios sound so tinny and that drives me nuts but this one has a nice sound.

Great radio.
This is a great little radio. It does what its supposed to. And it is very programmable. Im actually surprised i actually recieved it as the delivery driver just left it next to the front door, on a very busy main road. But delivery aside, ive enjoyed listening to the air band and trying out its other fuctions and settings, today. I can highly recommend this radio, but it would benefit from a longer antenna.

Totally unusable
This looks a nice cheap radio the price and delivery were good the quality is good but it is totally unusable has it has no filtering as far as I can make and is also transmitting on the third harmonic frequency either side of of the frequency you are transmitting on if you are a licenced radio ham which you need to be to use this radio you will know what I mean totally illegal

Great reception easy to program
I have picked up more aircraft with this than I ever did with my Uniden EZ133. Nice to hold clear sound easy to program. Great value at £39.99.

Poor sensitivity, Could be much better.
The radio sent to me looked like a factory rework. All looked new apart from a slight mark on the screen protector plastic. The battery was fully charged and there was already programmed setup on the radio. The knobs were very stiff and not easy to turn. Either poor QC or not assembled properly.Biggest issue was low recieve sensativity. It transmitted fine with adequate power, but you would need this to get it to receive. I checked, all firmware was up to date, another odd surprise.It locked up on the menu a couple of times so I decided to do a full radio reset. One point is the radio language options before reset was only English or Chinese. After reset the only two options were English or Russian. Guess they were destined for somewhere else.Need a bit more hardware improvements as they are not that badly made units, displays etc.Only really suitable as PMR communications as ham radio quality is let down by spurious emmissions.Good value for money if you want a cheap two way radio system and your using within close proximity, its let down by its poor recieving performance over greater distances.Rather poor reception on FM and airband.See FM sensitivity against UV-5R in video.

Great dual band HT
Great radio, with many functions. Speaker is loud & TX audio reports are good. Can activate a 2m repeater 30 miles away on stock antenna. Screen easy to read in sunlight & straightforward to program via BT or direct on keypad.

At first I wasn’t sure I was gonna like it, but it has become one of my go to radios. I have about 21 handhelds, out of my analog radios, this Radtel is in my top 2 radios. I do like the app programming. The drawback is, you do one channel at a time and if you want to import a whole bunch, you would want to use chirp so you could potentially copy and paste. But all in all, the app works well and the radio is well built and signal reports say its working fine.

Excellent reception in LF and MF even indoors and urban areas. Software more user friendly than RT-890. Solid built. BT enabled to pair with phone or tablet and setup of the channels in a convenient and fast way , without a computer. You can do it on the go.The stock antenna is good being a a stock antenna . Once again better than the stock antenna bundled with RT-860 and RT-890.Practical handheld HAM. For beginner and no high stake scenarios.
