Good quality and excellent build
This is a good sturdy radio, solid body, with a good size fitted battery with an option to also fit replaceable cells. The solar panel can be folded out or left in the parked position and put in a south facing window to charge the internal battery during the day. Nice design and quality feel. Good signal reception on DAB, where my other DAB devices struggle. Sound quality is good but only mono. This is not a Hi Fi device but an excellent emergency radio with plenty of options.

How is it possible to get all the functions in to a DAB radio, crank handle, torch, solar panel, battery compartment, SOS, reading lamp, 3 power input, and it pairs to your phone. Brilliant.

An emergency radio
This device is very compact and versatile. The sound quality is good. There are options of solar, battery or rechargeable energy sources and of course the windup facility. The emergency alarm is particularly loud with a red flashing light. It is robustly made and smaller than I imagined which is good. The reason I bought it is just in case of an emergency when all power fails and it is recommended to have an independent device which is not reliant on mains electricity.

Handy for Power Cuts etc
Not used it to its fullest yet but so far so good. When switched on it automatically tunes DAB radio stations. The Light & torch look nice & bright, the radio has good reception. The phone charger worked fine. The good thing is that it would be very useful in a power cut with the wind up & battery options allowing you to listen to music, keep up with news etc on the radio, keep phones charged plus the lights are a better option than candles. My mother in-law had power out for several days recently in Cornwall due to the recent storm (Jan 2026) & could have done with a radio like this. We live over 300 miles away & when her phone battery ran out of charge & we couldn’t contact her to see how she was. Thankfully all ok now but this radio is ideal for those sort of situations.

Absolutely LOVE this. Itâs a fantastic little wind up radio/torch/phone charger that comes fully charged. In the video I forgot to show it charging while winding it but it shows on the display screen that itâs being charged. Great product. Big thumbs up from me.
