Dense but light, good for travelling
I use an Airex mat at home that is 1.5cm thick to protect my knees. But it’s too heavy and big when rolled up, to travel with. I bought this Strongtek mat hoping for the best of both worlds, thickness/comfort and portability. It is made with a dense foam at 8mm thick, so it gives good protection for my knees and elbows. The top surface is grippy but not sticky. It has a nice soft feel to it. The bottom has more grip and works well on bare floors. For it’s density, it is lightweight and a good width so it fits easily into my check-in bag. The strap is just a bit of webbing with elastic. It was taped to the outside of the package almost like an after thought (some reviewers said they never received one). I’ll probably make my own out of something a bit more substantial. Very happy with the quality and the price, and would recommend.

Thick and comfortable mat for yoga and exercise
This mat is thicker than many on sale, and very comfortable for yoga and for exercises requiring one to kneel on the mat. It is also non-slip in socks or bare feet. It is light, has different colours on each side and the green one is a lovely shade. I wanted a mat for yoga and exercises and this is advertised as suitable for both. Logo is discrete.The reviews mention potential issues of: 1) it not lying flat when first purchased – no problem for me, I simply laid it curve side down the first few sessions, 2) odour on opening – not with mine, 3) no carrying strap – mine was included and taped to the packaging, from others descriptions of a loose strap which might get lost in transit it seems that the seller has improved the packaging.It arrived sooner than promised, despite the christmas postal delays.The only reason that I am not giving it 5 stars is that I cannot comment yet on how well it cleans up.Overall, I think this is an excellent, light, comfortable, pretty mat which can be used for yoga or exercise.

Fantastic value for money and great quality
Outstanding value for money. I couldnât recommend this enough, especially considering how little it cost. Itâs got a good thickness to it, excellent material quality, grip and comfort levels when doing planks and sit ups. Itâs durable. When brand new it had a strong smell to it but after a few weeks it had completely disappeared. Canât recommend it enough.

Great cushioning, but no straps
Really good quality mat, light weight, great cushioning for my knees (I had problems with knees and my old 6mm mat). Itâs not slippy at all. Didnât get the straps that are mentioned but overall very happy!

Doesnt slip on floor
Good mat which doesnât slip on the floor. Is nicely padded for my sore knees. Only thing I could complain about is my hands slip a little in down dog.

THE THICKNESS AND QUALITY IS VERY GOOD. THE CARRY STRAP, HOWEVER, NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED; it’s too FLIMSY FOR THE sturdiness of THE MAT. VERY COMFORTABLE FOR THE KNEES. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT AND THE PRICE IS GOOD.
