Perfect product for fledglings but far too much packaging!
Waiting to mix in with their daily no mess bird feed. A couple of hundred fledglings and parents around of all sizes, from tits to giant crows! Mealworms over winter but the babies and younger ones would maybe have a problem with the size. The insects inside this tub are perfect for them. Did not order too many as insects galore for them on trees outside when dry and sunny. These are perfect for stormy days when they don’t like the trees for too long and need to find some fast food! I run a small wildlife rescue and sanctuary,during covid our usual suppliers were finding it hard to keep up with deliveries and we found ourselves running out of feed for wild bird nestlings,this product was used to make up a feeding formula,ground in a coffee mill until a fine powder and then liquidised with cat food,sounds gross but it kept many small birds full,well fed and healthy! Couldn’t have managed without it! I will however say that none of the adult wild birds in our care would touch it,not robins ,blackbirds or thrushes! Would still buy again in an emergency

Expensive waste of money and non returnable!
Very poor quality food and non returnable. Without opening the tub i can see mostly empty mealworm shells and no shrimp at all! Expensive waste of money!

A bit expensive to buy all the time but a good treat to mix in with other seed or suet pellet.
Birds absolutely love,there are alot of baby birds around at moment up on our roofs &under the tiles,I watch them swoop down then go back to the nests &the baby birds squawking away as they are fed.It has meal worm,daphnia,shrimp &other ingredients.

Not worth the money, looks like fish food
This reminds me of fish food flakes. Not sure what most of the bits were, but nothing identifiable. Won’t be bothering again as even the Robins weren’t keen and for a tiny tub its not worth it.

Mashed up stuff, mainly skin and wings
Took a punt on this and in my opinion itâs not worth it. There are a few mealworms and a few little shrimps, one or two much larger bugs, but Iâd say 80-90% of this an unidentifiable mix of wings and skin/exoskeleton. Birds usually donât eat wings and legs, they spit them out. Especially insectivores. This looks more like mashed up fish food. Wonât buy it again. I tried to send it back before I opened it but itâs apparently not eligible for sending back even unopened. Waste of money.
