At under £7, this emergency blanket is pretty much a must for the car/rucksack/caravan..As who knows when an emergency could occur..Ours is in the car boot and will get moved into the front for the winter months.

Supplied without the compass and 1 carabiner look-a-like clip, but in honesty, the additional items weren’t going to be any use anyway, the whistle gives a thin “toot” and the clip is very flimsy.The bag itself is the main item and it’s made of better materials than the usual “space-blanket” Mylar you get- it’s feels a durable silvered plastic interior bag, sealed at edges and base with a high vis, survival orange outer colour which can be used as an emergency bag or shelter. If fits nicely into the small waterproof orange storage bag and is an ideal size to carry in you pocket, just in case you are separated from your usual camping kit.Have a look how to make best use of the survival bag, this one is quite well made for the price and ,whilst hopefully you will never have the need to use it in real life, it’s best to know how to use it well..
