Looks really good and is SO easy to assemble
I had been looking at similar surrounds for some time, but they were too expensive. This one is affordable, and is SO easy to put together. The instuctions are fantastic (if only all flatpacks were as simple to understand). Each piece is numbered, and each of the connecting pieces, screws, etc., were lettered in separate bags. Throughout the process, I was pleasantly surprised at its simplicity. Finally, the fireplace surround looks really good and was just what was wanted.

Value for money and beautiful
Just as described. Easy to assemble – took just over an hour. I had been looking for a fire surround for a while. I liked the storage space and thatâs what swayed it for me. Arrived very quickly and safely. I painted the fire surround to match my decor as the white was too stark for the room. I knew all along I was going to paint it. The paint took well and I love how it looks. I am considering getting another one but will keep it unpainted.

Looks nice but could be better
Had so many bits to put together it was quite overwhelming, luckily I had a friend put it together for me, took well over an hour and half. I like the overall look of the fire surround apart from the gap you can see that runs across the front near the top, that makes it look not so well put together so Iâve bought something to disguise it and hopefully it will cover that gap. Also it needs to be fixed onto the wall to make it more stable or it will simply fall over or fall apart as some of the bits donât stay secure if you try to move it so best to assemble this very close to where you want and to place it. Overall I like it but it could have done with fine tuning a few details to make it more sturdy and look more well put together.

Great fireplace surround with bonus storage space too. Took a bit longer than the suggested hour to put together but fairly easy to do and looks smart. I painted it to match the room and it looks fab.

If your not a carpenter, donât buy it.
Firstly I will say that the product is pleasing to the eye and had it been made better I would have given it 5*.Firstly it is made from the thinest MDF 11mm, the dowel and cam system used for assembly is absolute rubbish, the cams all break when they a tightened up and they are 15mm dia x 10mm thick, bearing in mind that they slot into 11mm MDF that leaves 1mm of material. Every single one has split out through the face of the board presenting me with a difficult repair job.Yesterday I spent 6 hours in my workshop repairing the board faces, glueing and screwing the 8 angles where the boards meet purely and simply to make the surround stable enough to be fixed to the wall. If only they had used 12mm MDF and decent cams instead of cheap Chinese ones this would have been a really nice surround.

Quelle belle surprise ! Sincèrement ça change tout dans mon salon , pour un petit budget (environ 80â¬) . Avec un grand miroir et une belle lampe, ça fait ‘classe’ même si c’est une imitation de cheminée ð je la repeinds avec une peinture mate et crayeuse pour atténuer le brillant du matériau, et j’installe un faux rideau de cheminée, en bois.Livrée rapidement et bien emballée, cette cheminée décorative est facile à monter. En plus les rangements intérieurs sont pratiques ! Totale satisfaction, merci !
