This even better than expected! Smart lamp with clean lines and nice for updating a look as we were. Very well made. Slightly taller than many lamps and this is what we needed. From the web picture the shade looked round so was a pleasant surprise when it came that the shape is oval so saves space. Its fitted warm hued bulb was for me too dim as the shade is quite thick so I upgraded to a brighter, cool white bulb and this casts a much better light. So it will depend on the ambience you require. The rocker switch is in the cable so no fiddling about under the bulb!Excellent value.
