Better than you think
I have quite a large suburban garden (35m x 10m) and this cuts it effortlessly on the lowest setting. It leaves a very neat finish and uses less than 50% of the battery. I charge it using a solar power set up in my shed which takes no time at all. It’s so easy to put together out of the box and takes no time at all either. The grass collection box is adequate but not fantastic and needs frequent emptying, the way I see it, if that’s the worst thing about this lightweight, cheap lawnmower then it’s a bargain in anyone’s eyes. I love it.

Very clean cut
Very good, cuts nicely. Only issue is the Alan key holes underneath need tightening fairly regularly to maintain a nice cut between the bottom blade and the cylinder blades, this becomes a problem when the holes become filled with mud picked up from the grass. Some plugs for them would be an ideal fix. Machines not really heavy enough to create lines in the grass either. Other than that brilliant product.

Not fit for purpose
WARNING –Tried to get a replacement grass box (parts do not connect) for the Yard Force lawn mower delivered on 7 April 2025. The first of the two contact options supplied by Amazon (telephone and also the number for guarantee) told me to contact the manufacturer, very strange. The second was an e-mail which did not provide a response. I telephoned SUMEC UK (the distributor) and the response was another e-mail address for Yard Force. Completed e-mail and received automatic acknowledgement but no further action. Needless to say cannot give this machine a good write up.

Very good reel mower for the money.
I love this lawnmower. I overseeded and didn’t want to use a rotary mower on the seedlings.If u are used to a non power reel mower this is so much better. It’s quiet, it cuts the grass well once adjusted, the battery life with the included 4ah battery is very good. I cut my lawn 3 times on a single charge.The grass box is very good and it gets filled nicely. My rotary mower was so bad at this I had to manually remove mashed up grass from the outlet constantly.For the money I’m very happy. If u want a reel mower for cheap this is the best one.

Needs to be heavier to cut even.
This thing doesn’t cut anything like my Qualcast 35S classic cylinder petrol. Needs to be heavier as It misses bits of longer grass and lower blade setting. Solved this by putting a 15kg weight on top of it. Also keep an eye on the blade as it needs adjusting regularly. Just purchased an old cylinder cassette for my Classic 35S petrol and will be re-conditioning it . Until then I’ll have to suffer this thing.

Easy to assemble. Light to push and good width on the cut. Would definitely recommend.

Buy extra 4amp hour battery not 2.5
So far seems pretty good. Build matches price as to be expected. Blade looked like it will not take a lot of stone hits. Cut seems good.
